Short answer
Evidence-led verdict
Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist is Play’n GO Game ID 1084, version 1.0. The public product page gives 8 October 2026 as its release date. Our evidence cut-off is 6 October, so the accurate status is upcoming. A public demo button and a completed rules document do not turn that future date into a release or prove that any operator has launched it.
The base game uses five reels, four rows and twenty paylines. Ordinary line awards run from the leftmost reel through adjacent reels. A Fox on reel five is Wild and collects visible Coin values; a Coin on any reel can help trigger the separate Cash Vault feature. Mystery symbols reveal cashpot values inside that feature.
The Vault Bonus is a hold-and-respin round played on twenty individual cells. Three lives decline on empty spins and refill to three when a new Coin or Mystery lands. Free Spins form a separate feature: exactly three Scatters on reels two, three and four award ten, and a moving sticky Fox collects Coins during the sequence.
The certified sheet records alternative RTP settings of 96.2%, 94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2% and 84.2%, with volatility level 5. The official product record gives a 15,000x total-bet cap. Those values describe the product, not its availability or configuration at a New Zealand-facing site.

Dated identity
Release status and exact product
The title and date need careful handling because current search results already disagree. Several preview pages label it released or attach a September date, but Play’n GO’s own product record says 8 October 2026. On 6 October that date is still in the future. This page therefore documents published rules while marking the game pre-release.
The rules PDF was approved on 22 July 2026 and identifies Game ID 1084, version 1.0. A completed certification-style sheet can precede commercial release. It establishes the mechanics and configuration menu supplied for the product; it does not establish that every market, operator or integration will carry it on launch day.
The internal identifier “redtailrobber” and full title distinguish this game from other robbery, vault and collect titles. If a live client omits “Cash Vault Heist,” match the provider, Game ID, five-by-four layout, twenty lines and feature help before treating it as the same build.
This status should change only when first-party evidence changes. We do not project availability on 8 October, and we do not convert a planned release into an operator claim. The date above is a scheduled product release, not a promise of New Zealand access.
Base engine
Five reels, four rows and twenty paylines
The standard round displays five reels and four rows. Twenty paylines are evaluated from left to right, beginning on reel one and continuing on consecutive reels. The paytable controls how many matching symbols are required and their value. Only the highest win for a particular line and symbol combination is paid.
The Fox substitutes for ordinary pay symbols but not for Scatter, Coin or Mystery. It appears on reel five, which means it can complete rather than start a conventional line. When its multiplier is present, that multiplier applies to line awards involving the Fox and to values it collects under the rules.
Coin and Mystery symbols do not form payline wins. Their purpose is feature interaction. Coins can appear across the reels and carry values expressed as a multiple of base bet. Mystery carries a cashpot result when revealed in the Vault Bonus. Separating line symbols from feature symbols prevents a Coin cluster from being mistaken for a direct line payment.
The Scatter is also non-paying and is restricted to reels two, three and four. Exactly three trigger ten Free Spins. The placement restriction means the required set is visually specific; five-Scatter tables imported from another slot are inapplicable.
A paid spin can activate more than one piece of feature logic. If three Scatters and enough Coins arrive together, the rules say the Vault Bonus resolves before Free Spins. There is no additional stake for the triggered features, but the initial paid round has already committed the selected total bet.
Collector layer
Fox multipliers, Coin values and Mystery cashpots
The Fox can carry no multiplier or one of 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x. When it participates in a line win, its current value multiplies that award. When it collects Coins or a cashpot, the same multiplier changes those collected amounts. It is not a persistent player-selected setting and should not be assumed from one spin to the next.
Coins display 0.2x, 0.4x, 0.6x, 0.8x, 1x, 2x or 5x base bet. A Fox landing on reel five collects every visible Coin. The collection does not mean those Coins also pay on lines. The values are feature amounts tied to base bet, which matters if an optional extra-bet mode is active.
Mystery symbols reveal one of four cashpots: 10x, 20x, 50x or 100x base bet. They can land in the Vault Bonus, not create an ordinary base-game payline. A Fox multiplier can apply to the cashpot when the rules’ collection condition is met.
Every Coin has a chance to trigger the Vault Bonus, while six Coins guarantee it. “Chance” is not a visible progress promise: fewer than six can trigger, but their appearance does not guarantee entry. Six is the deterministic threshold specified by the help.
Gear shown on the robber is cosmetic progression within the presentation and resets after the bonus. It does not change certified RTP, reel probabilities or the number of lives. Treating cosmetic equipment as a mathematical upgrade would misstate the rules.
Entry condition
How the Cash Vault feature starts
A Coin can independently trigger the Vault Bonus, and landing six Coins guarantees it. This is different from the common “six or more hold-and-spin symbols” shorthand: the feature may begin with fewer, while six removes the chance element from the entry test.
Coins visible on the triggering spin transfer into the Vault grid and keep their displayed values. Mystery symbols can then add cashpot values during the bonus. The starting layout therefore depends on the trigger and is not a fixed set of guaranteed prizes.
If the trigger coincides with exactly three Scatters, the Vault Bonus runs first. Ten Free Spins begin afterwards. The features are not merged into a single enhanced mode, and the order should be visible in the current help.
No trigger is “due” because several rounds have passed without one. RTP includes the full long-run feature distribution, while individual spin outcomes remain random. Increasing the stake raises currency risk but does not turn a probabilistic Coin trigger into certainty below the six-Coin threshold.
Hold-and-respin rules
Twenty cells, three lives and locked values
The Vault Bonus replaces the ordinary reels with a five-by-four field of twenty cells. Each empty cell spins independently. Coin and Mystery symbols lock when they land; other cells remain available for the next bonus spin.
The feature begins with three lives. Every bonus spin consumes one. If at least one new Coin or Mystery lands, the counter refills to three; if nothing new lands, it stays one lower. The sequence ends when the counter reaches zero, unless the overall product cap has already ended the award calculation.
Locked Coins retain their base-bet values. Mystery reveals a 10x, 20x, 50x or 100x cashpot. At the conclusion, the locked values are combined and paid subject to Fox or GO ULTRA adjustments and the 15,000x game cap.
Filling more cells can extend the feature because each new symbol resets lives, but there is no promise that the board will fill. A reset provides three further chances at the current layout; it does not make a new symbol inevitable.
Do not add the displayed values as coin denominations before checking total bet. The sheet expresses them as base-bet multiples. In an extra-bet mode, base bet can exclude the optional surcharge, so dividing an award by the full debited amount may not reproduce the displayed multiplier.
Optional configuration
What GO ULTRA changes
Where an operator enables GO ULTRA, a Vault Bonus begins with a Lucky Coin placed on a random cell. After each bonus spin it moves. At its new position, it performs one of two actions on orthogonally adjacent cells: collect their values into itself or double those neighbouring values.
Adjacent means immediately above, below, left or right; diagonals are not included in the described rule. Edge and corner positions naturally have fewer neighbours. The result therefore depends both on the movement and on where locked values sit.
A single symbol is capped at 5,000x base bet. That symbol-level limit is not the whole-game maximum. The product’s overall maximum win remains 15,000x total bet, so even several large cells cannot bypass the game cap.
The official sheet explains that an extra bet is not part of base bet. It does not publish the surcharge amount in the checked record, so this guide does not invent one. Read the deployed client for the cost, whether the mode is enabled, and how total debit is displayed before every spin.
GO ULTRA modifies feature behaviour and price where offered; it is not proof of a higher RTP unless the live information screen explicitly states a different return. Never infer a configuration change from a branded button alone.
Separate feature
Ten Free Spins and the moving sticky Fox
Exactly three Scatters on reels two, three and four award ten Free Spins. The feature begins with a sticky Fox in a random position. Between free spins, the Fox moves and its multiplier is randomised. When it lands, it collects all Coin values displayed for that spin.
The Fox remains part of the feature but not necessarily in one fixed cell. “Sticky” describes its continued presence across the sequence, while the movement rule changes its position. A review calling it stationary misses the mechanism that alters line and collection opportunities.
Three Scatters during Free Spins add another ten. The certified help caps the sequence at one hundred free spins. That is a maximum quantity, not an expected duration and not a guarantee that any retrigger will occur.
Fox multipliers can be 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x or absent. Each spin should be read on its own displayed state. A previous 10x does not persist unless the client shows it again after the move.
Coin values collected in Free Spins remain base-bet multiples. They do not automatically start the Vault Bonus merely because the feature contains Coins; apply the exact help if a concurrent trigger appears, rather than assuming feature rules from the base game.
Configuration menu
Five verified RTP settings
The Game ID 1084 rules list five alternative RTP builds. The first is the default mathematical configuration in the document, but an operator can deploy another authorised build. Only the current game-information screen establishes the active value.
| Configuration | RTP | Theoretical house edge |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 96.2% | 3.8% |
| 2 | 94.2% | 5.8% |
| 3 | 91.2% | 8.8% |
| 4 | 87.2% | 12.8% |
| 5 | 84.2% | 15.8% |
RTP is a long-run theoretical ratio over a very large number of rounds. It does not tell a player what one bonus will return, when six Coins will appear or whether Free Spins will retrigger. House edge is simply 100% minus the listed RTP.
Several preview sites show rounded or single values. A lone 96% entry is insufficient because it conceals both the exact 96.2% top setting and four lower options. Record the live percentage and version instead of copying a search snippet.
A demo may use a configuration different from a real-money integration. Visual similarity and the same Game ID do not prove the same RTP; the information panel must do that work.
Keep units separate
Volatility, win cap and rare-event fields
The certified mathematical record assigns volatility level 5, and the product record labels it medium. Third-party previews variously call it high or medium. We use the provider’s numeric scale because adjective boundaries are not standard across review sites.
The official product page lists 15,000x total bet as the maximum win. At a hypothetical $1 total stake, that cap corresponds to $15,000 before operator rules. This arithmetic illustrates the unit; it is not a statement that the game accepts NZD or is available locally.
The rules sheet lists maximum exposure of 750,000 at its reference maximum bet of 50 and states that the maximum event has probability below one in one billion. Exposure is a currency-model field, not a 750,000x multiplier. Dividing 750,000 by 50 is consistent with the separate 15,000x cap.
Volatility does not predict the next outcome. A medium label still allows long losing sequences, and the large maximum is exceptionally rare under the supplied probability description. Neither number is a reason to extend a session.
Reference limits
Bet range and money management
The GRS records a reference minimum bet of 0.10 and maximum of 50. These units are not a promise of New Zealand-dollar limits. Operators can present denominations, currency conversion and permitted ranges differently.
Twenty paylines describe the win paths, but the interface may present only one total-bet control. Confirm the full amount debited per paid spin. If GO ULTRA is switched on, include its surcharge in a session budget even though the rules define base-bet prizes without that extra amount.
Automatic or rapid play can compress a large number of paid rounds into a short period. Three bonus lives are not a financial safety control, and a nearly filled Vault is not money already owned. Choose a loss limit and time limit before beginning.
Do not increase stake to chase the 15,000x ceiling. The monetary cost scales immediately, while the rules do not say that higher stakes improve trigger probability or RTP.
Interface check
Mobile, help and public demo boundaries
The rules list mobile and desktop formats. On a small screen, open help before play and locate the game identity, twenty-line layout, Coin values, current RTP, total bet, GO ULTRA cost if present and the one-hundred-spin feature limit.
Play’n GO’s public game experience is entertainment-only and awards no real money. It can teach the life-reset rhythm, Fox movement and Lucky Coin adjacency. A short run cannot measure RTP or estimate the likelihood of the maximum event.
A provider demo also does not prove that a real-money operator accepts players in New Zealand. It does not verify the operator, its territorial rights, the deployed return or its payment and withdrawal rules.
Because this is a pre-release review, a preview client may change or be unavailable. Recheck the version after 8 October. If the launched help differs from Game ID 1084 version 1.0, the deployed help is the relevant evidence for that build and should be reported through our corrections process.
Separate evidence chain
New Zealand availability is not assumed
This article verifies a Play’n GO product record, not an operator listing. A future global release date cannot show that a New Zealand-facing operator will carry the game, that the operator may legally serve a reader, or that a particular RTP will be used.
The Department of Internal Affairs player guidance was checked on 6 October 2026. New Zealand’s online-gambling position is date-sensitive, including the transition around 1 December 2026 and a later licensing process. Consult the primary source and our dated legal-status guide; this page is not legal advice.
Before acting, verify operator identity, age and location rules, current status, payment ownership, withdrawals, complaints, limits and self-exclusion. A New Zealand flag, NZD display or public demo is not proof of authorisation.
Product accuracy and operator legitimacy are separate checks. Passing one does not satisfy the other, and neither guarantees a favourable outcome.
Two-minute audit
What to verify after the scheduled release
- Confirm the full title, Play’n GO, Game ID 1084 and version.
- Check that the official release date has passed and the operator actually lists the game.
- Match the five-by-four grid and twenty paylines.
- Verify Fox multipliers of 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x.
- Confirm six Coins guarantee the Vault trigger.
- Check three lives and the reset-to-three rule.
- Read GO ULTRA price and Lucky Coin adjacency if enabled.
- Verify three Scatters award ten Free Spins and the sequence caps at one hundred.
- Record one of the five official RTP settings from live help.
- Keep 15,000x total bet separate from 750,000 exposure.
- Verify operator and New Zealand status independently.

How to compare it with other Play’n GO games
The Play’n GO catalogue guide keeps studio-owned games under exact URLs. Redtail’s Coin collector and twenty-cell Vault should not be merged with Book of Dead expanding-symbol rules or cluster mechanics from Tome of the Lost.
Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed also uses a hold-and-spin feature, but its guarantee meter and feature symbols are a different rule set. Shared respin language does not make values, triggers or caps transferable.
Tome of the Lost uses a 5x5 cluster grid, Compass thresholds and one Treasure Cave free round. Redtail instead has conventional lines, ten Free Spins and a separate 5x4 Vault board.
Compare current RTP, total price, volatility scale, feature entry and cap using first-party help. Do not rank a future release by preview excitement or a 15,000x headline. The appropriate choice is always optional entertainment within a pre-set budget.
Questions answered
Frequently asked questions
Is Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist released?
Not at this review’s 6 October 2026 evidence cut-off. Play’n GO’s official page schedules release for 8 October 2026, so this is a pre-release rules guide rather than a claim of live operator availability.
What RTP settings are listed?
The official Game ID 1084 rules list 96.2%, 94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2% and 84.2%. These are alternative configurations; only the deployed game help identifies the active one.
How does the Vault Bonus work?
It uses twenty independently spinning cells and begins with three lives. Coins and Mystery symbols lock; each new one resets lives to three. A spin with no new symbol removes one life, and the feature ends at zero.
What is GO ULTRA?
Where enabled, GO ULTRA adds a Lucky Coin to the Vault Bonus. It moves after each bonus spin and either collects or doubles adjacent values. The official rules cap one symbol at 5,000x base bet.
What is the maximum win?
The official product record lists 15,000x total bet. The rules sheet’s 750,000 maximum-exposure field is a reference-currency figure at its maximum stake, not a 750,000x cap.
