Short answer

Evidence-led verdict

Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed is Play'n GO Game ID 975, version 1.0, released on 1 October 2026. The official record describes a five-reel, twenty-line game available in mobile and desktop formats. Coins, a Collector symbol and a persistent per-bet guarantee meter lead into a three-respin Hold & Spin feature.

The distinctive rule is not simply coin collection. A Collector with no Coins in the base game contributes to GO Guaranteed. The meter starts at a documented 20x total base bet and can rise towards 100x. If a later Hold & Spin result is below the stored guarantee, the feature applies that minimum according to the help.

Coins without a Collector follow a different branch: Wispy collects their values and there is a small chance of the Wheel of Spooks. The number of Coins in that one-to-five-Coin event does not increase the wheel chance. Six or more Coins trigger Hold & Spin instead.

The rules list RTP choices of 96.25%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25% and 84.25%, volatility level 6, and a mathematical maximum exposure of 500,000 at maximum stake. The public product record gives the player-facing maximum as 5,000x total bet. Competitor pages already confuse this new title with unrelated booster games, so exact Game ID and help are essential.

Release, version and title identity

The official title includes both punctuation and suffix: Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed. The public URL encodes the exclamation mark, while the rules use internal identifier “ghostbooster,” Game ID 975. These details distinguish it from similarly named Hold & Win, Halloween and “booster” slots.

The verified public release date is 1 October 2026. A very recent title is particularly vulnerable to scraped placeholders and mistaken previews. One competitor page in the checked search results attributes a 6x5 expanding grid, three coloured booster collectors, a 10,000x win and 96.06% RTP—none of which matches the official Game ID 975 rules.

We therefore use the official rules as the numerical source and the product page for release and maximum-win context. A review posted before release or a page built from another game's template cannot replace the deployed help.

Publication on Play'n GO's global site does not establish real-money access in New Zealand. Operator catalogue, geographic availability, legal status and active RTP configuration each require their own check.

Base game

Five reels, twenty lines and three event branches

The mathematical record lists five reels and twenty fixed paylines. Ordinary line wins follow the paytable shown in the client. The central event symbols are Coins and the Collector, and their combination on a base-game spin decides which additional rule is used.

With one to five Coins and no Collector, Wispy collects the displayed Coin values. That event can also lead to the Wheel of Spooks. With one Collector and no Coins, no Coin total is collected; the Collector instead advances the GO Guaranteed meter.

When one to five Coins land together with a Collector, the Collector awards the total value of those Coins. Six or more Coins trigger Hold & Spin. Keeping these branches separate prevents a common mistake: not every Collector charges the guarantee, and not every Coin event can open the wheel.

The rules sheet lists one coin in the mathematical settings and a reference stake from 0.20 to 100. “One coin” in that table does not mean only one Coin feature symbol can land. Mathematical coin units and thematic Coin symbols are separate concepts.

Line wins and Coin events can coexist under the game's evaluation sequence, but the help controls award order. Do not estimate Coin frequency or Collector probability from a short demo. Random results can cluster without changing the underlying model.

Displayed multipliers

Coin values and Collector behaviour

Official Coin values are expressed as multiples of total base bet. The checked list is 0.25x, 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7.5x, 10x, 12.5x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 37.5x, 50x, 75x, 100x and 1,000x.

A displayed Coin value is not a separate stake. It multiplies the total base bet for the relevant collection. For example, a 5x Coin at a hypothetical $1 total base bet represents $5 within the event before any other awarded values. This example does not claim NZD availability or recommend a stake.

In the base game, a Collector with Coins gathers their values. In Hold & Spin, a Collector gathers the values of the Coins already present, but the Collector itself does not remain locked. New Coins do lock and also reset the respin counter.

The 1,000x Coin is part of the value table and is not the Wheel's Grand prize, even though that wheel prize is also 1,000x. They arise from different rule branches. A review should name the source of the award rather than treating identical multipliers as one jackpot.

Base-game chance

Wheel of Spooks prize levels

When one to five Coins appear without a Collector, Wispy collects them and there is a small chance that the Wheel of Spooks is awarded. The rules explicitly say that the number of Coins does not increase the chance. Five collected Coins are therefore not evidence of better wheel odds than one.

The wheel shows four fixed total-base-bet prizes: Mini at 10x, Minor at 25x, Major at 100x and Grand at 1,000x. These labels are presentation names. The checked help does not describe them as a progressive pool shared across operators.

The rules also warn that the wheel layout is only a visual representation and does not represent the actual chance of each prize. Equal-looking segments cannot be converted into equal probabilities. The pointer animation likewise does not create a timing decision for the player.

Wheel awards remain subject to the game's overall maximum. A wheel result does not modify the GO Guaranteed meter, because the meter uses the separate lone-Collector branch. Avoid summaries that merge the wheel and guarantee into one feature.

Saved for a bet level

GO Guaranteed meter: 20x default to 100x maximum

A Collector landing in the base game with no Coins goes to the GO Guaranteed meter. The rule sheet states a default guarantee level of 20x total base bet. Every two qualifying Collectors increase the meter by one level and add 5x, and the documented maximum guarantee is 100x.

The product page describes five visible levels, while the detailed rules state the two-Collector, +5x and 100x conditions. Those descriptions should be reported without inventing a full numerical level table. The interface may group multiple increments into visible stages; only the exact deployed help can resolve presentation detail.

The meter is tracked by bet. Changing the bet resets the visible meter for the new amount to the 20x default. The rules add that returning to a previously used bet can restore the amount that had been accumulated for that bet. It is not a single cash balance transferred across all stakes.

After Hold & Spin concludes, the meter returns to 20x for that bet. The guarantee applies to the feature result when the qualifying total is below the stored minimum; it is not an extra 20x or 100x added on top of every feature.

A higher guarantee can reduce the shortfall of a weak Hold & Spin, but it does not guarantee a profit across the session. Stakes spent while building the meter are not refunded or included in that single-feature minimum.

Three-respin feature

How Hold & Spin resolves

Six or more Coin symbols in the base game trigger Hold & Spin. The feature begins with three respins. Triggering Coins remain locked, and every new Coin or Collector resets the counter to three. When a respin adds neither, the counter decreases.

Coins that land during the feature lock in place with their displayed values. A Collector gathers the value of every Coin currently shown, but unlike a Coin it does not lock. This means a Collector can create an award and then leave the position available on the next respin.

The feature ends when the respin counter reaches zero or the grid is full. Filling all twenty positions adds a 250x total-base-bet bonus. If the qualifying feature total is below the stored GO Guaranteed amount, the rules apply the guarantee; the full-grid award is handled according to the order shown in the current help.

The rule sheet says the guarantee is applied first when a full-grid result is below the stored amount, followed by the 250x full-grid bonus. That wording matters: do not describe 250x as part of the minimum or claim the guarantee replaces the full-grid award.

Three respins are a counter, not three ordinary free spins. Coins stay in position and the reel behaviour differs from the base game. A new Coin resetting the counter does not add three to the current number; it restores the display to three.

Configuration menu

Five verified RTP settings

The official rules list five alternatives. A live operator chooses a deployed configuration; players should read the game's information panel rather than assuming the highest figure.

ConfigurationRTPTheoretical house edge
196.25%3.75%
294.25%5.75%
391.25%8.75%
487.25%12.75%
584.25%15.75%

RTP includes the mathematical contribution of all features over the long run. It does not say how often the wheel, maximum Coin or Hold & Spin will appear in a short session. The house-edge column is simply 100 minus RTP.

The twelve-point gap between top and bottom settings materially changes theoretical cost. A third-party page quoting 96.06% is not a rounded form of 96.25%; it is a different number and, in the checked example, appears beside mechanics that do not belong to Game ID 975.

Changing stake or waiting for the meter does not switch RTP. If the operator will not display the configured return, treat that as missing information rather than estimating it from results.

Different measures

Volatility, win cap and maximum exposure

The mathematical record assigns volatility level 6. That provider-specific score indicates result variation but does not promise feature frequency. Coin collection can create many visible events while the overall value remains concentrated in less common outcomes.

The public product record lists a maximum win of 5,000x total bet. A hypothetical $1 total stake gives a $5,000 upper boundary before operator terms. The example is arithmetic only and does not state that the game or currency is available to a New Zealand account.

The GRS separately lists maximum exposure of 500,000 at the maximum reference bet and a maximum-win probability of less than one in one billion. Maximum exposure is not a 500,000x claim. Wheel Grand at 1,000x and full-grid 250x are also individual feature awards, not the overall cap.

The guarantee can make one Hold & Spin meet a stored minimum, but it does not change the cost of earlier rounds or remove volatility. Do not keep playing solely because progress has accumulated; the personal budget should control the session.

Stake-specific state

Bet range and meter management

The official reference range is 0.20 to 100. Operator currencies, denominations and market limits can differ, so these values should not be presented as guaranteed NZD stakes. Confirm the total base bet before every round.

Because the guarantee is associated with a bet level, changing stake can show a fresh 20x meter. Returning to an old stake may restore its stored state, but the live help and account session determine what is retained. Never raise a stake simply to use a visually larger guarantee; both the minimum and risk scale with total bet.

Fast play can compress many twenty-line rounds into a short period. A progress meter makes persistence visible, which can encourage chasing. Use a time limit and a fixed loss limit independent of the number of Collectors already gathered.

Feature values are multipliers of total base bet. Compare costs and limits using that field, not a decorative coin denomination or a displayed Coin symbol.

Interface check

Mobile, help and demo boundaries

The rules list mobile and desktop. On mobile, locate the guarantee amount, bet-specific state, twenty-line paytable, total bet and configured RTP. Check how the interface distinguishes a lone Collector from a Collector with Coins.

Play'n GO's public product experience is entertainment-only and does not award real money. A demo can teach the controls and reset sequence, but it cannot establish the long-run RTP or prove that a paid version is available to a New Zealand user.

A demo may also reset state when cookies, bet or sessions change. Do not assume its meter persistence exactly mirrors a real-money operator. The deployed help is controlling.

If the title shows coloured boosters, an expanding 6x5 grid or another maximum win, stop: that is not the Game ID 975 rule set checked here. Verify the provider and full title.

Market claim boundary

New Zealand access needs separate proof

This guide verifies the global Play'n GO release but does not claim current availability through a New Zealand operator. Operator identity, territorial rights, configuration and legal status are independent facts.

The Department of Internal Affairs guidance was checked on 6 October 2026. New Zealand's framework is in a time-sensitive transition, including the period around 1 December 2026 and a later licence process. Use the official page and our dated legal-status guide, not this slot review as legal advice.

Verify age and location rules, payments, withdrawals, complaints, payout limits and self-exclusion tools. Then confirm the exact RTP and rules inside the game. An NZD option, local flag or public demo proves none of those points on its own.

Keep gambling recreational. A progress meter and guaranteed feature minimum do not create recoverable value outside the exact rule or make losses elsewhere refundable.

Two-minute audit

What to verify before relying on the game

  1. Match the punctuation, provider and Game ID 975.
  2. Confirm five reels and twenty fixed paylines.
  3. Check the one-to-five Coin branches and six-Coin trigger.
  4. Verify 10x, 25x, 100x and 1,000x Wheel prizes.
  5. Read the 20x default and 100x maximum guarantee wording.
  6. Confirm three respins, locking Coins and non-locking Collectors.
  7. Check the 250x full-grid award and guarantee order.
  8. Record the live RTP from the five official options.
  9. Keep 5,000x separate from maximum exposure.
  10. Verify operator and New Zealand status separately.

Avoid false matches

What this game is—and is not

Ghost Booster is a fixed-line Coin-and-Collector game. It is not a cluster slot like Rich Wilde and the Tome of Dead, and it does not use that game's Ritual charge system.

It is also distinct from pages that describe coloured collectors, expanding reels or reel and row boosters. Those details conflict with the official Game ID 975 document. Search snippets can combine titles when punctuation is omitted, so always check the source URL and game identifier.

The Play'n GO catalogue guide links exact products and explains why RTP, demo, rules and bonus information should remain in one page for each title. Its catalogue does not prove operator availability.

GO Guaranteed is a feature label, not a promise of profitable play. It sets a minimum for a qualifying Hold & Spin result under the current rules. The overall session can still lose, the feature may not trigger, and the five RTP alternatives remain the clearest long-run configuration check.

Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

What is the Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed RTP?

The official Game ID 975 rules list 96.25%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25% and 84.25%. Check the live help because only one alternative will apply to the deployed build.

How is Hold & Spin triggered?

Six or more Coin symbols in the base game trigger Hold & Spin with three respins. Coins lock, new Coins or Collectors reset the counter to three, and Collectors gather the values of Coins already showing.

How does GO Guaranteed work?

A Collector landing without a Coin advances the guarantee meter. The default guarantee is 20x total base bet; every two qualifying Collectors increase a level and add 5x under the rules, with a stated maximum of 100x. After Hold & Spin, the meter resets to 20x for that bet.

What does a full Hold & Spin grid award?

Filling all twenty positions adds a 250x total-base-bet bonus. The guarantee still applies if the qualifying feature total is below the stored minimum.

What is the maximum win?

The official product record lists 5,000x total bet. Wheel awards of 10x, 25x, 100x and 1,000x are feature prizes, not separate progressive jackpots.
