TNT Tumble: rules, game features and verified RTP settings

TNT Tumble is Relax Gaming’s original 2020 5×7 match game, separate from TNT Tumble Dream Drop. Horizontal or vertical groups of at least three symbols tumble, adjacent stone is removed, TNT clears a full stone row and stacked Wilds persist until they reach the bottom in a win. Clearing all stone awards six Free Spins and a choice of medium-, high- or very-high-volatility rock features. Current help verifies a 70× purchase but loads both base and buy RTP from inaccessible runtime configuration, so no percentage is invented.

Short answer

Evidence-led verdict

TNT Tumble is a Relax Gaming first-party title identified in the checked demo as tnttumble. the current official package exposes no readable version or publication date; the official release record dates the game to 1 April 2020. The rules describe five reels by seven rows with horizontal and vertical match wins. Those identifiers matter because lower-return builds and market-specific clients can share the same artwork.

Current TNT Tumble help inserts the base-game and 70× purchase RTP from runtime configuration. The supplier configuration endpoint returned access denied during this check, so neither percentage could be verified and neither is copied from an older review.

The checked help does not state one fixed ordinary-game maximum. Its paytables and any separately documented jackpot rules must therefore be read without inventing a universal cap. The reference stake range is €0.10 to €100. The risk profile is choice-dependent in Free Spins: medium, high or very high; return and prize information do not predict whether a feature or large award will occur in a session.

This page confirms studio authorship, current help text and public release status. It does not claim that a New Zealand operator offers the title, that a demo is a local real-money product, or that a displayed euro-denominated reference range will appear as NZD. Those questions require a separate operator and live-client check.

Original title, not Dream Drop

TNT Tumble identity and release status

Relax Gaming released TNT Tumble on 1 April 2020 and still lists it among its Own Games. The checked client uses game ID tnttumble. That identifier separates this original match game from TNT Tumble Dream Drop, whose jackpot layer changes the mathematical product.

The official release called it the third title in the Tumble series and described a 5×7 grid, TNT stone removal and Drill Wilds. The current help is stronger for operational rules. It exposes no readable version stamp, so this review records the exact package URL and check date rather than manufacturing a version.

The product card gives €0.10–€100 as reference stakes. Those euros identify the global supplier build; they are not a promise of NZD play or operator availability.

Match evaluation

Horizontal and vertical groups of three or more

A winning match requires at least three identical paying symbols connected in a straight horizontal or vertical line. Diagonal contact alone does not qualify. If a run extends beyond three symbols, the help pays only the longest matching combination for that symbol in the line.

This is not a left-to-right payline game. A valid group can form elsewhere on the 5×7 area, provided the required orientation and adjacency are present. Multiple distinct matches may settle in one cascade sequence.

Pure-Wild matches are evaluated only when no other adjacent paying symbol is available in the relevant direction. That qualification stops Wild-only settlement from overriding an eligible substituted-symbol match.

One paid round, several evaluations

Winning symbols and neighbouring stone disappear

After a match, its non-Wild winning symbols disappear. Dark stone directly above, below, left or right of those winners is also destroyed. Symbols then fall into the openings and new symbols arrive, creating another evaluation without a new stake.

The sequence repeats until the grid contains no fresh win. A cascade is part of the same paid round, so it should not be counted as a separate spin when comparing spend or sample results.

Stone is more than a visual blocker: removing every dark block within the round is the feature trigger. Tracking a nearly clear screen does not make the final required match predictable, because the symbols introduced by each tumble remain random.

Two specialised tools

TNT clears a row while stacked Wilds descend

At the start of a base round, dark blocks and between zero and three TNT blocks are placed across the lowest three rows. When a TNT stone is destroyed through adjacent match activity, it removes every other dark stone block on that same row.

Wilds tend to arrive in vertical stacks and substitute in matches. Unlike ordinary winning symbols, they are not immediately removed by a win. A Wild stack remains while it falls, and is destroyed after reaching the bottom row when included in a win.

TNT therefore accelerates horizontal stone clearance, while a surviving Wild stack can support later matches during the same tumble chain. Neither tool guarantees that all stone will be cleared.

Clear every block

Six Free Spins follow complete base-game clearance

If every dark stone block is destroyed during one base-game round, the game awards six Free Spins. The condition must be completed inside the continuing cascade sequence; progress does not carry between ordinary paid rounds.

Before feature play begins, the player selects one of three rock distributions. The choice does not alter the already paid trigger round, but it changes what special blocks can contain during the feature.

The six-spin award is an initial count, not a fixed duration. Extra-spin rocks and the every-third-row rule can add spins, while a multiplier route instead directs more of its special-block value towards the persistent multiplier.

Documented risk labels

Multiplier, mixed or Extra Spins mode

Multipliers is labelled very high volatility. Every special block contains an added multiplier of 1×, 2× or 3×. Destroyed values increase the feature multiplier, which remains for later Free Spins unless increased again.

Extra Spins is labelled medium volatility. Special blocks contain 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 additional spins instead of multiplier steps. More spins create more opportunities but do not guarantee a particular return.

Multipliers & Extra Spins is labelled high volatility and mixes both types. The labels describe provider-designed distributions; they are not percentages and cannot be converted into hit rates.

Persistent feature terrain

Stone moves down instead of resetting

During Free Spins, dark, special and TNT blocks do not reset after every spin. Once at least one row has been cleared, the stone field shifts down so the bottom three rows continue to contain at least one dark, special or TNT block.

Clearing every third complete row of regular and special stone awards two extra Free Spins in all three selected modes. This rule operates alongside any extra-spin values uncovered in the Extra Spins or mixed choice.

The persistent multiplier accumulates only in modes containing multiplier blocks. It survives between feature spins; it does not carry back to the base game or into a later independently triggered feature.

Optional paid shortcut

Current help states a 70× Free Spins purchase

The purchase can be used only from the base game and guarantees entry to Free Spins. Current help states that the total price is 70 times the selected bet per spin. A hypothetical $1 regular stake therefore represents $70 exposed in one decision, without asserting that dollar play is offered.

The help inserts purchase RTP through an unresolved runtime field. A price is not an RTP, and neither the feature choice nor the cost allows the missing return to be calculated.

Feature buying can be disabled by jurisdiction or operator. If it is present, verify the charged total, selected stake and displayed purchase RTP before confirmation, and treat the entire price as capable of returning zero.

Live-help evidence

RTP, house edge and alternative builds

Current TNT Tumble help inserts the base-game and 70× purchase RTP from runtime configuration. The supplier configuration endpoint returned access denied during this check, so neither percentage could be verified and neither is copied from an older review. Without a verified percentage, a house edge cannot be calculated responsibly. Open the exact live help and subtract its displayed RTP from 100%; do not infer the missing value from artwork, a game-ID suffix or another edition.

Checked mode or routeTheoretical RTPHow to use it
Exact deployed base gameNot exposed publiclyRead the current in-game help before use

Once a deployed help panel supplies a percentage, read it as a long-run average across the mathematical model—not a personal refund after 100 spins. High variation, rare features, jackpots and capped awards can produce short samples far above or below that average.

Alternative game IDs are material even when their exact returns are absent from the public product card. A casino can deploy a lower-RTP build under the same consumer title. We therefore do not label any third-party percentage “universal” or “guaranteed.” Open the information control in the operator client and look for the percentage after the game has loaded.

Do not infer RTP from a demo balance, one successful bonus, a streaming clip or a site's headline card. A random sample cannot identify the configured model reliably. The useful audit record is the exact title, visible game ID or version, displayed RTP, date and operator client captured together.

Distribution, not prediction

Volatility and maximum-win limits

The current choice screen grades the Extra Spins route medium, the mixed route high and the Multipliers route very high volatility. It does not assign one universal grade to every stage of the game. These labels compare the three feature distributions; they do not predict feature length or return.

The current help does not publish a single fixed ordinary-game cap. That evidence gap must remain separate from moving progressive prizes and promotional maximum-win copy. If a deployed operator client states a cap, record that exact build and the unit it uses rather than importing a number from another source.

A cap is a settlement limit, not a realistic session target. It provides no countdown, hit schedule or evidence that raising the stake improves the chance per dollar. Previous non-winning spins do not move a random future result closer to the cap. Treat every paid round as new exposure.

Practical risk is also shaped by total stake, spin speed, feature purchases, enhanced-spin options and session length. A lower stake repeated rapidly can expose more money than a higher stake used briefly. Decide the total acceptable loss before opening the game, then use account limits and breaks rather than chasing a feature.

Read the charged amount

Bet range, optional costs and affordability

The product record gives a reference minimum of €0.10 and maximum of €100. Those euro-denominated figures identify the provider's reference build. They do not promise equivalent NZD controls, and an operator can apply different denominations or account limits.

Always read the total bet immediately before a paid action. The interface can show denomination, level, lines and total stake separately. Enhanced spins or bonus-reel options may increase the price of a round, while a feature purchase can cost many multiples of the base stake. The amount leaving the balance is the relevant measure.

A useful pre-session calculation is total bet multiplied by the maximum number of rounds you are prepared to buy, assuming the entire amount can be lost. For a feature purchase, treat the whole displayed price as exposed at once. Do not finance a purchase by increasing the base stake after losses.

Promotional funds do not change the slot's RTP. Wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum-bet rules and cash-out limits sit in the operator's terms. Check them independently, because a bonus can make an otherwise permitted game or stake ineligible.

Interface verification

Mobile help and what a demo can prove

The official web demo loaded a responsive game client and exposed the title, help date, version, rules and return information used here. On a phone, locate the menu, information icon, total bet, balance and paytable before considering a paid round. If text is clipped, rotate the device or expand the help rather than relying on a search result.

A demo can demonstrate symbol movement, feature order, mode selection and interface controls with valueless credits. It cannot establish that a real-money operator accepts players in New Zealand, that the operator uses the same game ID, or that its active RTP matches the demo.

Demo results also cannot validate the long-run RTP. Ten, one hundred or even thousands of observed spins are a noisy sample, especially in a volatile game. A large demo win is not a prediction for paid play and a dry demo sequence is not proof that the published mathematics is wrong.

If desktop and mobile help disagree, pause. Record the exact URL or operator, title, mode, help version and percentages. The mismatch can indicate a cached client, a market build or an update. Current deployed help is stronger evidence than an undated review, but conflicting clients still need clarification.

Separate evidence chain

New Zealand access is not inferred from the demo

Relax Gaming's own-games catalogue and public demo show that the studio publishes TNT Tumble. They do not show that a named operator lawfully offers it to a person in New Zealand. Studio publication, aggregation, operator inventory, territorial access and legal status are separate claims.

Before any real-money use, verify the operator's identity, current New Zealand terms, age and location controls, payments, withdrawals, complaints, account limits and self-exclusion tools. A localised page, NZD wallet or country flag is not on its own regulatory proof.

New Zealand's online-gambling position is time-sensitive. Check the Department of Internal Affairs player guidance and our dated legal-status guide at the point of use. This review is about one game's rules and does not provide legal advice.

Even after an operator check, inspect the live game help. A valid operator relationship does not prove the highest RTP, and the right RTP does not prove operator status. Keeping both questions separate prevents a global demo from becoming an unsupported availability claim.

Source reconciliation

What the checked sources establish

The product and release pages establish Relax authorship, the original 1 April 2020 release, reference stakes and the dated over-12,000× launch headline. Current help controls the 5×7 match rules, stone destruction, six-spin trigger, three feature choices and 70× purchase. RTP remains unresolved because runtime configuration was blocked.

Current help verifies matches of at least three, repeated tumbles, 0–3 TNT blocks in the lowest three rows, persistent stacked Wild behaviour, six initial Free Spins, +1/+2/+3 multiplier rocks, +1/+2/+3/+5/+10 spin rocks and +2 spins for every third cleared feature row. It states no current hard cap.

Third-party reviews were used to find frequent questions and contradictions, not to override the live help. Competitors often print only the largest cap, omit the selected mode, describe alternative IDs as exact RTPs without a source, or treat global demo access as operator availability.

The evidence was checked on 6 October 2026. The date matters: Relax can update a client or product card, and operators can retain another certified build. Future checks should start with the deployed help and compare its identifier, version and return with this record.

We do not add a hit rate, feature frequency, universal volatility score, New Zealand operator claim or exact alternative RTP unless the checked first-party material supports it. An explicit evidence gap is preferable to a precise-looking number copied from another release.

Two-minute audit

Checklist before relying on this guide

  1. Match the full title TNT Tumble and developer Relax Gaming.
  2. Confirm game ID tnttumble, help date 6 October 2026 and version not exposed where shown.
  3. Check the layout: five reels by seven rows with horizontal and vertical match wins.
  4. Read feature triggers, reset rules and settlement order in the live help.
  5. Record the active RTP rather than assuming a number from another source.
  6. Confirm whether the deployed help states an ordinary cap; preserve the gap if it does not.
  7. Read the displayed total stake after enabling any option.
  8. Verify operator identity and New Zealand access independently.
  9. Check promotional terms separately from game mathematics.
  10. Set money and time limits that remain acceptable if no feature arrives.

If the live help differs, use that deployed build and send the title, game ID, version, date and screenshot through our corrections process. That evidence lets us update one canonical review without creating duplicate RTP or bonus pages.

Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

What is the current TNT Tumble RTP?

Current help inserts base and feature-buy RTP from runtime configuration. That endpoint returned access denied on 6 October 2026, so this guide does not publish an unverified percentage.

How are wins formed?

Three or more identical symbols must be horizontally or vertically adjacent. Winning symbols disappear, nearby stone is removed and new symbols tumble into the grid until no new match forms.

How do Free Spins start?

Destroying every dark stone block in a base round awards six Free Spins. The player then chooses Multipliers, Extra Spins, or Multipliers & Extra Spins.

How much does the feature purchase cost?

Current help states 70× the selected bet per spin. Its RTP remains a runtime placeholder and the route can be unavailable in some markets.

Is TNT Tumble Dream Drop the same game?

No. TNT Tumble is the original 2020 title under game ID tnttumble. The later Dream Drop edition adds jackpot rules and requires its own help.
