Short answer
Evidence-led verdict
Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop is a Relax Gaming first-party title identified in the checked demo as templetumble2dd. The live help we inspected is dated 10 March 2026 and marked version 1.0.13; the official release record dates the game to 4 May 2022. The rules describe six columns, six rows, cascades and up to 46,656 ways. Those identifiers matter because lower-return builds and market-specific clients can share the same artwork.
The checked help states a theoretical RTP of 94.80%, equivalent to a 5.20% theoretical house edge. That is the figure for the client opened during this review, not proof that every operator deploys the same build. Relax's product record lists alternative game IDs, so the percentage inside the exact live client remains the controlling value.
The checked help does not state one fixed ordinary-game maximum. Its paytables and any separately documented jackpot rules must therefore be read without inventing a universal cap. The checked help does not publish one reference minimum or maximum stake; read the exact deployed total bet instead of importing a product-card range. The risk profile is not published in the checked help, product page or release; return and prize information do not predict whether a feature or large award will occur in a session.
This page confirms studio authorship, current help text and public release status. It does not claim that a New Zealand operator offers the title, that a demo is a local real-money product, or that a displayed euro-denominated reference range will appear as NZD. Those questions require a separate operator and live-client check.

Exact connected edition
Temple, not Templar, and Dream Drop included
Relax Gaming announced Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop on 4 May 2022. The checked client ID is templetumble2dd; its help is dated 10 March 2026 and marked version 1.0.13.
This is not the original Temple Tumble and not Templar Tumble 2 Dream Drop. One letter changes the entity, while the Dream Drop suffix adds a connected jackpot layer.
The product, release and help do not publish a volatility classification. This guide preserves that gap instead of inferring “high” from a jackpot or blocker mechanic.
The global demo documents one supplier configuration. It is not evidence that an NZ operator carries the title or that a New Zealand player is eligible.
Up to 46,656 combinations
Consecutive-reel ways and cascading symbols
The main grid has six reels and six rows. A regular win needs at least three matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, and only the longest combination for that symbol is used.
Multiple matching positions on a reel multiply the number of combinations, producing up to 46,656 ways on a fully open grid. The count is not the same as 46,656 fixed paylines.
Winning symbols disappear and replacements fall into their places. The grid is evaluated again until no new win appears, all within the initiating round.
Regular Wilds can appear on reels two through six and substitute for paying symbols. Their role is separate from the persistent Wild feature described below.
Three to twenty-four at spin start
Stone blocks, adjacent destruction and feature entry
Every base-game spin begins with between three and 24 stone blocks. A winning symbol is removed, and blocks directly above, below, left or right of the winning position are also damaged or cleared under the rules.
Diagonal proximity is not enough. The orthogonal adjacency rule determines which blocks are affected by each winning cascade.
Clearing every base-game block awards six Free Spins. The block objective belongs to the current paid round and does not create a persistent long-term collection between unrelated spins.
Inside the feature, clearing all regular and special blocks awards three extra spins. That reward can repeat only when the documented clearing condition is met again.
Choose one feature package
Multipliers, Fire Transform or Combined mode
After the base blocks are cleared, the game offers three Free Spins modes. Multipliers & Extra Spins uses special blocks carrying +1, +2 or +3 multiplier values and +1, +2 or +3 extra-spin values.
Wild & Fire Transform centres on persistent Wild positions and a Fire Transform target that changes one symbol type on the next cascade.
Combined blends elements from both systems. It should not be described as automatically superior: the mix of tools changes, but future grids remain random.
The choice is part of the round configuration. Record the selected mode when comparing a result, because two screenshots from the same title can legitimately show different block and symbol behaviour.
A life counter per position
Persistent Wilds can survive up to five uses
A persistent Wild can occupy any reel during the relevant feature mode. Its displayed life total can reach five under the documented rules.
When the Wild contributes to a win, it loses one life. At its final life it is removed after use rather than remaining on the next settled grid.
The counter belongs to that Wild position, not to every Wild symbol on screen. Ordinary Wilds and persistent feature Wilds should not be counted as one shared meter.
Persistence can support repeated ways, but it does not guarantee a win before the life expires. The surrounding reels still need to produce a qualifying consecutive combination.
Separate pre-spin event
Jackpot Spin, six tiers and contribution
A Jackpot Spin may occur before a standard spin. It uses a six-by-six grid with blocks and Dream Drop symbols. Landing one Dream Drop symbol on every reel enters the prize bonus.
The current detailed rules list six tiers, including Daily alongside Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major and Mega. Older feature-panel copy names five reel prizes, so this guide keeps the current network rules and the legacy summary distinct.
The help states a total jackpot contribution of 12%. It also places the Daily result in three UTC time windows. These are network mechanics, not a countdown that identifies the next winning player.
Jackpot values move with contributions and awards. They are not the same as a fixed 10,000× or 20,000× ordinary-game cap, and the checked help states no such cap for this edition.
Live-help evidence
RTP, house edge and alternative builds
The information panel in the checked official demo states “the theoretical return to player for this game is 94.80%.” Subtracting that value from 100% gives a theoretical house edge of 5.20%. Both numbers describe the same long-run mathematical relationship from opposite directions; they are not separate charges and they are not a forecast for a deposit.
| Checked mode or route | Theoretical RTP | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Base game in official demo | 94.80% | Verified in help: 10 March 2026 |
A return of 94.80% means that across the model's very large test horizon, average awards correspond to 94.80 units for every 100 units staked. It does not mean a player receives that percentage back after 100 spins. High variation, rare features and capped awards can produce short samples far above or below the designed average.
Alternative game IDs are material even when their exact returns are absent from the public product card. A casino can deploy a lower-RTP build under the same consumer title. We therefore do not label 94.80% “universal” or “guaranteed.” Open the information control in the operator client and look for the percentage after the game has loaded.
Do not infer RTP from a demo balance, one successful bonus, a streaming clip or a site's headline card. A random sample cannot identify the configured model reliably. The useful audit record is the exact title, visible game ID or version, displayed RTP, date and operator client captured together.
Distribution, not prediction
Volatility and maximum-win limits
The available first-party and live-help evidence supports a not published in the checked help, product page or release risk profile. Volatility concerns how unevenly the mathematical return is distributed: a volatile game can devote more of its return to uncommon events and leave long stretches with small awards or none. It is not a timetable for a bonus and it does not show that a loss is “due” to reverse.
The current help does not publish a single fixed ordinary-game cap. That evidence gap must remain separate from moving progressive prizes and promotional maximum-win copy. If a deployed operator client states a cap, record that exact build and the unit it uses rather than importing a number from another source.
A cap is a settlement limit, not a realistic session target. It provides no countdown, hit schedule or evidence that raising the stake improves the chance per dollar. Previous non-winning spins do not move a random future result closer to the cap. Treat every paid round as new exposure.
Practical risk is also shaped by total stake, spin speed, feature purchases, enhanced-spin options and session length. A lower stake repeated rapidly can expose more money than a higher stake used briefly. Decide the total acceptable loss before opening the game, then use account limits and breaks rather than chasing a feature.
Read the charged amount
Bet range, optional costs and affordability
The v1.0.13 help does not state the available stake range. Use the exact operator client for denominations and total bet, and do not assume that a euro-denominated global product card maps directly to NZD controls.
Always read the total bet immediately before a paid action. The interface can show denomination, level, lines and total stake separately. Enhanced spins or bonus-reel options may increase the price of a round, while a feature purchase can cost many multiples of the base stake. The amount leaving the balance is the relevant measure.
A useful pre-session calculation is total bet multiplied by the maximum number of rounds you are prepared to buy, assuming the entire amount can be lost. For a feature purchase, treat the whole displayed price as exposed at once. Do not finance a purchase by increasing the base stake after losses.
Promotional funds do not change the slot's RTP. Wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum-bet rules and cash-out limits sit in the operator's terms. Check them independently, because a bonus can make an otherwise permitted game or stake ineligible.
Interface verification
Mobile help and what a demo can prove
The official web demo loaded a responsive game client and exposed the title, help date, version, rules and return information used here. On a phone, locate the menu, information icon, total bet, balance and paytable before considering a paid round. If text is clipped, rotate the device or expand the help rather than relying on a search result.
A demo can demonstrate symbol movement, feature order, mode selection and interface controls with valueless credits. It cannot establish that a real-money operator accepts players in New Zealand, that the operator uses the same game ID, or that its active RTP matches the demo.
Demo results also cannot validate the long-run RTP. Ten, one hundred or even thousands of observed spins are a noisy sample, especially in a volatile game. A large demo win is not a prediction for paid play and a dry demo sequence is not proof that the published mathematics is wrong.
If desktop and mobile help disagree, pause. Record the exact URL or operator, title, mode, help version and percentages. The mismatch can indicate a cached client, a market build or an update. Current deployed help is stronger evidence than an undated review, but conflicting clients still need clarification.
Separate evidence chain
New Zealand access is not inferred from the demo
Relax Gaming's own-games catalogue and public demo show that the studio publishes Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop. They do not show that a named operator lawfully offers it to a person in New Zealand. Studio publication, aggregation, operator inventory, territorial access and legal status are separate claims.
Before any real-money use, verify the operator's identity, current New Zealand terms, age and location controls, payments, withdrawals, complaints, account limits and self-exclusion tools. A localised page, NZD wallet or country flag is not on its own regulatory proof.
New Zealand's online-gambling position is time-sensitive. Check the Department of Internal Affairs player guidance and our dated legal-status guide at the point of use. This review is about one game's rules and does not provide legal advice.
Even after an operator check, inspect the live game help. A valid operator relationship does not prove the highest RTP, and the right RTP does not prove operator status. Keeping both questions separate prevents a global demo from becoming an unsupported availability claim.
Source reconciliation
What the checked sources establish
The official product page establishes first-party authorship, public release status, layout, reference bets, headline features and the supported market game IDs. The loaded demo supplies the stronger operational evidence for rules, version, displayed RTP, purchase route and win-cap wording.
The current v1.0.13 help verifies 94.80% RTP, 46,656 ways, 3–24 starting blocks, six initial Free Spins, three feature choices, block values, persistent-Wild lives, Jackpot Spin entry and six current prize tiers including Daily. It states no ordinary hard cap, so jackpot values and third-party maximum-win claims are not substituted for one.
Third-party reviews were used to find frequent questions and contradictions, not to override the live help. Competitors often print only the largest cap, omit the selected mode, describe alternative IDs as exact RTPs without a source, or treat global demo access as operator availability.
The evidence was checked on 6 October 2026. The date matters: Relax can update a client or product card, and operators can retain another certified build. Future checks should start with the deployed help and compare its identifier, version and return with this record.
We do not add a hit rate, feature frequency, universal volatility score, New Zealand operator claim or exact alternative RTP unless the checked first-party material supports it. An explicit evidence gap is preferable to a precise-looking number copied from another release.
Two-minute audit
Checklist before relying on this guide
- Match the full title Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop and developer Relax Gaming.
- Confirm game ID templetumble2dd, help date 10 March 2026 and version 1.0.13 where shown.
- Check the layout: six columns, six rows, cascades and up to 46,656 ways.
- Read feature triggers, reset rules and settlement order in the live help.
- Record the active RTP rather than assuming 94.80%.
- Confirm whether the deployed help states an ordinary cap; preserve the gap if it does not.
- Read the displayed total stake after enabling any option.
- Verify operator identity and New Zealand access independently.
- Check promotional terms separately from game mathematics.
- Set money and time limits that remain acceptable if no feature arrives.
If the live help differs, use that deployed build and send the title, game ID, version, date and screenshot through our corrections process. That evidence lets us update one canonical review without creating duplicate RTP or bonus pages.

Progressive versus fixed jackpots — separates changing prize pools from a fixed game maximum.
Compare the active RTP, evaluation model, feature trigger, purchase price, volatility evidence and maximum-win unit—not the loudness of the theme. Those fields show whether two games genuinely create different risk and rules.

Questions answered
Frequently asked questions
What is the Temple Tumble 2 Dream Drop RTP?
The official v1.0.13 help dated 10 March 2026 states 94.80% theoretical RTP for the checked Dream Drop client.
How are Free Spins triggered?
Each base spin starts with 3–24 stone blocks. Clearing every block awards six Free Spins and opens a choice between three modes.
What are the three Free Spins choices?
The choices focus on Multipliers and Extra Spins, Wild and Fire Transform, or a Combined mode using elements from both.
How does the Dream Drop trigger work?
A Jackpot Spin can occur before a normal spin. One Dream Drop symbol on every reel of the 6×6 jackpot grid enters the prize bonus.
What is the maximum win?
The checked help does not state one fixed ordinary-game maximum. Dream Drop prizes are moving jackpot amounts and must not be rewritten as a game cap.
