Frequent Flyer: rules, game features and verified RTP settings

Frequent Flyer is a low-volatility Relax Gaming 6×4 slot with 40 fixed paylines and a current configured RTP of 96.14%. Five Split Flap symbols that correctly spell a listed destination award 3 Jetsetter Free Spins; a sixth can lift the award to 6. Each destination uses either shuffling Wilds or a 2×–6× win multiplier and adds a passport stamp. Collecting every destination unlocks a final choice combining Wilds and multipliers. Current help does not state one universal hard maximum-win cap.

Short answer

Evidence-led verdict

Frequent Flyer is a Relax Gaming first-party title identified in the checked demo as frequentflyer. the current official help package exposes no readable version date; the official release record dates the game to 2 December 2020 network-wide release after an exclusive period. The rules describe six reels by four rows with 40 fixed paylines. Those identifiers matter because lower-return builds and market-specific clients can share the same artwork.

The checked help states a theoretical RTP of 96.14%, equivalent to a 3.86% theoretical house edge. That is the figure for the client opened during this review, not proof that every operator deploys the same build. Relax's product record lists alternative game IDs, so the percentage inside the exact live client remains the controlling value.

The checked help does not state one fixed ordinary-game maximum. Its paytables and any separately documented jackpot rules must therefore be read without inventing a universal cap. The reference stake range is €0.10 to €150. The risk profile is low, as stated in the official network-release announcement; return and prize information do not predict whether a feature or large award will occur in a session.

This page confirms studio authorship, current help text and public release status. It does not claim that a New Zealand operator offers the title, that a demo is a local real-money product, or that a displayed euro-denominated reference range will appear as NZD. Those questions require a separate operator and live-client check.

Network release history

Exact title and the six-month exclusive period

This review covers Frequent Flyer, ID frequentflyer. Relax's 2 December 2020 announcement records its network-wide release after six months of exclusivity, not necessarily the first day any customer saw the game.

The date wording matters because “released in December” and “available exclusively earlier” can both be true. This page uses the dated network milestone and does not invent an earlier public date.

The product reference range is €0.10–€150. Those euro controls identify the supplier package, not an NZD promise or confirmation of New Zealand real-money access.

Current help exposes no version label. Exact ID, checked URLs and the 6 October 2026 date form the reproducible identity record.

All lines always active

Six reels, four rows and 40 fixed paylines

The grid uses six reels and four rows with all 40 paylines active. Matching line awards are evaluated left to right under the paytable.

Wild substitutes for regular paying symbols. Split Flap boards have a separate destination function and should not be described as ordinary Wilds or cash symbols.

The low-volatility label does not remove random variation. A session can still finish with a complete loss of the chosen budget.

Paytable values scale linearly with the bet under current help. Raising the stake changes money exposed and nominal awards, not the long-run return percentage.

Spell a listed destination

Five or six Split Flaps and Jetsetter Free Spins

Five Split Flap symbols reveal letters. If they spell a destination listed on the information board, the game awards 3 Jetsetter Free Spins.

When six Flaps land, the trigger can award 6 spins if the destination has already been completed after the fifth letter and the extra board reveals the +3 result.

Landing five boards is not enough if their letters do not form a valid listed destination. Trigger probability therefore depends on both symbol arrival and the reveal.

Each successful destination uses one of two feature types: shuffling random Wilds or a win multiplier. The board identifies the mode attached to the destination.

Two feature families

Shuffling Wilds, multipliers and Final Call

Multiplier destinations award Free Spins with a win multiplier between 2× and 6×. Wild destinations use between 2 and 10 random Wilds under the current help.

The special settings apply to that destination's short feature. They do not permanently alter the base game or every later destination.

Final Call can trigger randomly at the start of a paid spin and places two Split Flap boards before the reels settle. No new board can land on positions already occupied by those placed symbols.

Final Call improves the opportunity to reach a destination but does not guarantee that the remaining letters complete a valid name or that the resulting feature is profitable.

Persistent destination record

Passport stamps and weighted-average feature stake

Every triggered destination awards its passport stamp. After all listed destinations have been played, the separate Frequent Flyer Free Spins feature is awarded.

The stamps then reset after that feature, allowing a new collection cycle. They are progress markers, not cash balances or guaranteed future awards.

The final feature uses a weighted average of the bets made when stamps were collected. Current help gives later stamps greater weight to compensate for decreasing probability as fewer unvisited destinations remain.

Changing stakes during collection can therefore change the settlement basis. Record the live displayed feature bet instead of assuming it equals the most recent paid spin.

Four combined routes

Frequent Flyer Free Spins selection

The first choice gives 5 spins with 1 Wild and a 6× multiplier. The second gives 5 spins with 3 Wilds and a 3× multiplier.

The third gives 3 spins with 6 Wilds and a 2× multiplier. None is automatically best: duration, Wild coverage and multiplier strength trade off differently.

The fourth is a concealed option revealing 4–20 spins, 1–10 Wilds and a 2×–6× multiplier after selection. It can reach each maximum but does not promise all maxima together.

The current help does not state a universal hard cap. The 2020 release's 5,426× headline remains dated product context, not verified current stop-and-pay wording.

Live-help evidence

RTP, house edge and alternative builds

The information panel in the checked official demo states “the theoretical return to player for this game is 96.14%.” Subtracting that value from 100% gives a theoretical house edge of 3.86%. Both numbers describe the same long-run mathematical relationship from opposite directions; they are not separate charges and they are not a forecast for a deposit.

Checked mode or routeTheoretical RTPHow to use it
Base game in official demo96.14%Current client config: 6 October 2026

A return of 96.14% means that across the model's very large test horizon, average awards correspond to 96.14 units for every 100 units staked. It does not mean a player receives that percentage back after 100 spins. High variation, rare features and capped awards can produce short samples far above or below the designed average.

Alternative game IDs are material even when their exact returns are absent from the public product card. A casino can deploy a lower-RTP build under the same consumer title. We therefore do not label 96.14% “universal” or “guaranteed.” Open the information control in the operator client and look for the percentage after the game has loaded.

Do not infer RTP from a demo balance, one successful bonus, a streaming clip or a site's headline card. A random sample cannot identify the configured model reliably. The useful audit record is the exact title, visible game ID or version, displayed RTP, date and operator client captured together.

Distribution, not prediction

Volatility and maximum-win limits

Relax's official network-release announcement calls Frequent Flyer low volatility. That describes the designed distribution, not a guarantee of frequent profit, destination triggers or short losing sequences.

The current help does not publish a single fixed ordinary-game cap. That evidence gap must remain separate from moving progressive prizes and promotional maximum-win copy. If a deployed operator client states a cap, record that exact build and the unit it uses rather than importing a number from another source.

A cap is a settlement limit, not a realistic session target. It provides no countdown, hit schedule or evidence that raising the stake improves the chance per dollar. Previous non-winning spins do not move a random future result closer to the cap. Treat every paid round as new exposure.

Practical risk is also shaped by total stake, spin speed, feature purchases, enhanced-spin options and session length. A lower stake repeated rapidly can expose more money than a higher stake used briefly. Decide the total acceptable loss before opening the game, then use account limits and breaks rather than chasing a feature.

Read the charged amount

Bet range, optional costs and affordability

The product record gives a reference minimum of €0.10 and maximum of €150. Those euro-denominated figures identify the provider's reference build. They do not promise equivalent NZD controls, and an operator can apply different denominations or account limits.

Always read the total bet immediately before a paid action. The interface can show denomination, level, lines and total stake separately. Enhanced spins or bonus-reel options may increase the price of a round, while a feature purchase can cost many multiples of the base stake. The amount leaving the balance is the relevant measure.

A useful pre-session calculation is total bet multiplied by the maximum number of rounds you are prepared to buy, assuming the entire amount can be lost. For a feature purchase, treat the whole displayed price as exposed at once. Do not finance a purchase by increasing the base stake after losses.

Promotional funds do not change the slot's RTP. Wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum-bet rules and cash-out limits sit in the operator's terms. Check them independently, because a bonus can make an otherwise permitted game or stake ineligible.

Interface verification

Mobile help and what a demo can prove

The official web demo loaded a responsive game client and exposed the title, help date, version, rules and return information used here. On a phone, locate the menu, information icon, total bet, balance and paytable before considering a paid round. If text is clipped, rotate the device or expand the help rather than relying on a search result.

A demo can demonstrate symbol movement, feature order, mode selection and interface controls with valueless credits. It cannot establish that a real-money operator accepts players in New Zealand, that the operator uses the same game ID, or that its active RTP matches the demo.

Demo results also cannot validate the long-run RTP. Ten, one hundred or even thousands of observed spins are a noisy sample, especially in a volatile game. A large demo win is not a prediction for paid play and a dry demo sequence is not proof that the published mathematics is wrong.

If desktop and mobile help disagree, pause. Record the exact URL or operator, title, mode, help version and percentages. The mismatch can indicate a cached client, a market build or an update. Current deployed help is stronger evidence than an undated review, but conflicting clients still need clarification.

Separate evidence chain

New Zealand access is not inferred from the demo

Relax Gaming's own-games catalogue and public demo show that the studio publishes Frequent Flyer. They do not show that a named operator lawfully offers it to a person in New Zealand. Studio publication, aggregation, operator inventory, territorial access and legal status are separate claims.

Before any real-money use, verify the operator's identity, current New Zealand terms, age and location controls, payments, withdrawals, complaints, account limits and self-exclusion tools. A localised page, NZD wallet or country flag is not on its own regulatory proof.

New Zealand's online-gambling position is time-sensitive. Check the Department of Internal Affairs player guidance and our dated legal-status guide at the point of use. This review is about one game's rules and does not provide legal advice.

Even after an operator check, inspect the live game help. A valid operator relationship does not prove the highest RTP, and the right RTP does not prove operator status. Keeping both questions separate prevents a global demo from becoming an unsupported availability claim.

Source reconciliation

What the checked sources establish

The product and release establish Relax authorship, network-release history, reference stakes, 40 lines and low-volatility positioning. Current config verifies 96.14% RTP; current help controls Split Flaps, Final Call, passport accounting, weighted bets and the four final choices.

Current help verifies 6×4 reels, 40 active lines, five- and six-Flap rules, destination Wild/multiplier modes, Final Call, passport stamps, weighted-average settlement and four Frequent Flyer choices. The current package states no purchase route or hard cap; the dated 5,426× release headline is not relabelled as current cap wording.

Third-party reviews were used to find frequent questions and contradictions, not to override the live help. Competitors often print only the largest cap, omit the selected mode, describe alternative IDs as exact RTPs without a source, or treat global demo access as operator availability.

The evidence was checked on 6 October 2026. The date matters: Relax can update a client or product card, and operators can retain another certified build. Future checks should start with the deployed help and compare its identifier, version and return with this record.

We do not add a hit rate, feature frequency, universal volatility score, New Zealand operator claim or exact alternative RTP unless the checked first-party material supports it. An explicit evidence gap is preferable to a precise-looking number copied from another release.

Two-minute audit

Checklist before relying on this guide

  1. Match the full title Frequent Flyer and developer Relax Gaming.
  2. Confirm game ID frequentflyer, help date 6 October 2026 and version not exposed where shown.
  3. Check the layout: six reels by four rows with 40 fixed paylines.
  4. Read feature triggers, reset rules and settlement order in the live help.
  5. Record the active RTP rather than assuming 96.14%.
  6. Confirm whether the deployed help states an ordinary cap; preserve the gap if it does not.
  7. Read the displayed total stake after enabling any option.
  8. Verify operator identity and New Zealand access independently.
  9. Check promotional terms separately from game mathematics.
  10. Set money and time limits that remain acceptable if no feature arrives.

If the live help differs, use that deployed build and send the title, game ID, version, date and screenshot through our corrections process. That evidence lets us update one canonical review without creating duplicate RTP or bonus pages.

Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

What is the current Frequent Flyer RTP?

The current official configuration checked on 6 October 2026 states 96.14% RTP, equivalent to a 3.86% theoretical house edge.

How are Jetsetter Free Spins triggered?

Five Split Flap symbols must land and reveal a destination listed on the information board. That awards 3 Free Spins; if six flaps land and the word completes on the fifth, the award becomes 6.

What is the Final Call feature?

Final Call can trigger randomly at the start of a paid spin and places two Split Flap symbols before the reels stop, increasing the chance of forming a destination.

What happens after all passport stamps are collected?

Frequent Flyer Free Spins open a four-choice screen combining Wilds and a win multiplier. The fourth option hides a range of 4–20 spins, 1–10 Wilds and a 2×–6× multiplier until selected.

Is 5,426× a verified current cap?

The 2020 launch advertised a 5,426× maximum payout, but current help does not state it as a hard settlement cap. This review preserves that distinction.
