Cloudbet crypto casino: NZ eligibility, account terms and evidence review

Cloudbet.com is operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. under claimed Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/328/0599. New Zealand was not listed among prohibited locations in terms updated 30 September 2026, but the contract also excludes use where online gambling is unlawful and makes local legality the user’s responsibility. No authenticated NZ account or evidence of Cloudbet’s status in New Zealand’s current transition was verified, so eligibility remains unconfirmed.

Short answer

Cloudbet’s NZ availability remains unconfirmed

Cloudbet's terms updated 30 September 2026 do not name New Zealand in the list of prohibited physical locations. Clause 7.1.3 then says people outside that list may use the website except in any jurisdiction where Cloudbet's online betting or casino offer is unlawful. The same clause makes the user solely responsible for confirming legality before registration or betting.

That combination is stronger than a simple omission from a country list, but it still is not operator-specific evidence under New Zealand's changing online-casino framework. No Cloudbet or New Zealand regulator record reviewed for this article established a transition entitlement, exemption, local approval or future NZ licence.

We did not create an account, supply identity documents, access an authenticated NZ cashier, deposit, play, contact support or request a withdrawal. Consequently this page does not claim that a New Zealand resident can currently register, that all listed networks are enabled for that account, or that a payout will be completed.

The accurate conclusion is conditional: the official contract documents the company, global country wording, funds and verification rules, while New Zealand eligibility needs a fresh DIA check and written confirmation from Cloudbet. Site reachability, a language page or an NZ IP response is not enough.

Contracting party

Halcyon Super Holdings, Curaçao and Solas

The current English terms identify Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. at Abraham Mendez Chumaceiro Boulevard 03, Willemstad, Curaçao. They give company number 148526 and claim Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/328/0599, issued on 27 May 2025.

Solas Technologies Limited at 25 Voukourestiou Street, 3045 Limassol, Cyprus may handle some payment methods. The terms expressly say Solas provides payment processing only, is not licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority and does not provide betting or gaming services. It should not replace Halcyon Super Holdings as the reviewed operator.

The contract names Cloudbet.com as the website. A mirror, app-store listing, messaging account or lookalike domain is not automatically covered by the same terms. Verify the HTTPS domain and open the policy footer before entering credentials or a wallet address.

The Curaçao licence details are an operator claim that can be checked against the regulator. They are not a New Zealand licence and do not decide whether Cloudbet fits New Zealand's current transitional requirements. Foreign licensing and NZ eligibility are separate evidence questions.

The English text controls if a translation conflicts. This review therefore uses the English contract rather than an older affiliate PDF, search snippet or translated copy.

Restricted countries and the conditional permission clause

Clause 7.1.3 prohibits use while physically located in listed countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, China and its named regions, Curaçao, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and United States. New Zealand was not named in the checked version.

The clause does not stop at the list. It excludes any other jurisdiction where Cloudbet's online betting or casino service is unlawful and makes confirmation the user's sole responsibility. Clause 5.4 separately requires the user to warrant that online sports betting and casino use is permitted where they are located.

Cloudbet reserves the right to run compliance checks at any time. Successful page access, signup or even an initial transaction does not prove continuing eligibility; location or identity checks can occur later.

This article does not use a VPN or location-masking test. Circumventing a country control would not establish permission and could create an account-term problem. The safe editorial wording is that New Zealand is not named in the current list, but overall eligibility is unconfirmed.

National evidence chain

Cloudbet and New Zealand’s transition

The site's New Zealand online-casino legal-status guide owns the dated national framework. This operator review does not freeze that law or infer a transition entitlement from Cloudbet's foreign terms.

No first-party source checked here showed that Halcyon Super Holdings had entered the relevant NZ process, obtained a local approval or satisfied a transitional condition. A Curaçao licence cannot fill that gap.

Before opening an account, recheck DIA's current player information and ask Cloudbet in writing whether a person physically located in New Zealand may register and use casino services on that date. Save the answer together with the terms date. If support and the contract conflict, do not deposit until the operator resolves it in writing.

This is an evidence review, not personal legal advice. Eligibility can depend on location and current rules, while payment and game availability can remain restricted even after an account is permitted.

Limits do not remove KYC powers

Registration, one-account rule and verification

Registration must be completed personally. Only one account per customer, IP address, household or phone-number verification is allowed. Multiple accounts may be blocked or closed and balances can be frozen while the operator acts under its rules.

Cloudbet's current help describes an unverified starting level, Level 1 based on a phone number and Level 2 requiring photo ID, proof of address and face verification. It says verification is not always required before basic use, but Cloudbet can request it at any time.

The controlling terms permit third-party identity and creditworthiness checks. Withdrawal documents can include photographic ID, proof of address, payment-card evidence and a dated selfie with identification. The AML/KYC policy also supports sanctions, politically exposed person and transaction screening.

Current help states that an unverified or Level 1 account has a USD2,200 lifetime deposit limit and USD2,200 daily withdrawal limit. Level 2 is described as removing those stated limits, although large withdrawals remain subject to additional review and contractual compliance checks.

These are account terms, not a recommendation to avoid verification. A person unwilling or unable to provide requested documents should not deposit on the assumption that crypto guarantees anonymity.

Prepayment, not self-custody

What happens to crypto after transfer

The terms say Cloudbet is not a banking institution and pays no interest on balances. More importantly, the prepayment clauses state that deposits are intended for betting, Cloudbet is not acting as custodian, and transferred deposits become Cloudbet's assets while the user receives a right to place bets for a corresponding amount.

That wording distinguishes an account balance from a self-custody wallet. The user does not retain the private keys controlling deposited funds merely because the incoming transfer used a blockchain. Withdrawal remains subject to the account contract, screening and operator processing.

The account balance should not be used as long-term storage. Cloudbet says unsupported coins may be lost, supported assets can be delisted, forked protocols may be unsupported, and it may convert a decommissioned asset to preserve account value.

Crypto price movement creates another layer of risk. A gambling result measured in coin units and the fiat value of those coins can move separately. A win in units can lose fiat value before withdrawal; a loss is not offset merely because an asset price later changes.

Clause 20 also says users should not prepay more than their regular betting use and may be required to withdraw excess balance within 60 days. This reinforces that the account is a wagering facility, not a savings wallet.

Public list versus live wallet

Supported cryptoassets and blockchain networks

The current terms list 29 cryptoassets: BTC, BCH, ETH, USDT, USDC, USDP, PAXG, DAI, DOGE, LTC, DASH, LINK, DOT, ADA, SOL, ALGO, AVAX, POL, SHIB, BNB, XLM, XRP, stETH, TRON, ZEC, TON, USDe, sUSDe and HBAR. Fiat availability depends on jurisdiction and available methods.

The help centre adds network detail. BTC and BCH can use their native mainnets and BNB Smart Chain; ETH lists Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Base; USDT lists Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, Solana, Polygon, Tron and TON; USDC lists Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Solana, Polygon and Base.

This network list is operationally important because the same ticker can exist on incompatible chains. Cloudbet warns that bridged or wrapped variants such as USDC.e and USDT.e are unsupported. A correct token sent on the wrong network can still fail.

No authenticated NZ cashier was inspected. The public list therefore does not prove which assets and networks appear for a permitted NZ account, the current minimum deposit, confirmation count or operator fee. The deposit screen is the final account-level source.

Always copy a fresh address from the active wallet screen, include a tag or memo where required and verify a small test route only after eligibility and ownership are resolved. An old address book entry or search-result address should never be trusted.

Account-level values

Deposits, minimums, fees and provider boundaries

Cloudbet's deposit guide says some tokens have minimums visible on the deposit screen and amounts below the minimum may not be credited. It also tells users to select the token and network before copying the address. This article cannot publish a universal minimum because the value depends on the live asset route.

The terms allow a handling charge of up to 5% on deposits and withdrawals to cover transaction costs. They also permit deduction of incurred deposit costs from a withdrawal where those costs exceed the net revenue generated since the first deposit. The actual screen and circumstances matter.

An on-site third party, Swapped, may sell crypto through cards or other local methods. A processor's method list is not proof that the method is available, lawful or economical for a New Zealand user. Its exchange rate, identity checks and fees form a separate contract.

Network fees and operator charges should be recorded separately. A blockchain fee may change with congestion, while a handling charge follows the contract. Marketing language such as “fast” or “low cost” is not a fixed fee table.

Approval before broadcast

Withdrawal route, timing and verification limits

The help flow requires a token, network, receiving address, amount and 2FA code where enabled, followed by email or Telegram confirmation. The screen displays a network fee, and the minimum varies by cryptocurrency. Incorrect address information can cause loss.

Cloudbet says withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours after confirmation. “Typically” and “after confirmation” prevent this from being a guarantee. Identity review, security checks, network conditions, unsupported destinations or account investigation can extend the time.

The current verification-level help states a USD2,200 daily withdrawal limit until Level 2 is approved. Level 2 has no stated daily limit, but larger requests are subject to additional review. Submitting documents does not remove the limit until approval.

The terms permit blockchain analytics and refuse transfers to addresses identified as sanctioned, blocked, illicit or otherwise flagged. A technically valid address is therefore not automatically an approved destination.

We did not make a withdrawal and publish no speed rating. A responsible record would retain the request ID, amount, network, displayed fee, confirmation time, transaction hash and support correspondence.

Terms and help reconciled

Deposit playthrough before withdrawal

Clause 8.8 says deposited funds outside an active bonus require at least 100% playthrough before withdrawal and permits Cloudbet to reduce that requirement at its discretion. A current help article describes the operational reduction as 25% of deposits and claimed tips for verified users, while unverified users must play through 100%.

Those records are not necessarily contradictory: the contract establishes the 100% baseline and discretion to reduce it; the support article describes a current verification-based reduction. The withdrawal screen remains the account-level source for progress on the day.

Only settled casino or sports bets count according to the help article. Pending bets do not count until settled. Playthrough is turnover, not loss: wagering USD500 once can satisfy USD500 of turnover even if part of the stake returns, subject to the current rules.

This requirement should not be used as an excuse to chase losses. If a small residual amount cannot be wagered because it is below the minimum stake, contact support rather than increasing risk beyond the intended withdrawal.

Lobby evidence changes

Casino games, providers and exact RTP checks

Cloudbet offers casino and sportsbook products, but this review does not freeze a game count or claim every provider is available to an NZ account. Jurisdiction, login status and commercial integrations can alter a lobby.

The terms state that casino, slot and other RNG-based games use RNGs independently tested by accredited laboratories. The clause does not name a laboratory, certificate, exact game build or active RTP. Each title still requires its own supplier identity and in-game help.

Open the exact game's information panel to record title, provider, RTP, version, stake range, feature price and maximum win. A lobby thumbnail or provider filter cannot prove the mathematical profile selected by Cloudbet.

Live dealer games rely on different result and error rules. “RNG tested” should not be applied to a human-dealt outcome, and a provider certificate does not validate account withdrawals or NZ eligibility.

No gameplay was performed. This article contains no invented win rate, catalogue score, loading-speed test or payout experience.

Offer-specific contract

Bonus conditions and loyalty claims

Cloudbet's general terms set a framework, while each promotion adds its own displayed conditions. No current NZ welcome amount, code or rating was verified, so this review publishes none.

Game contribution varies. Live and virtual tables contribute 10% to wagering; slots and arcade games above 99.5% RTP contribute 10%; other slot contributions are calculated using the game's RTP and should be displayed. Excluded games can contribute nothing.

Bonus withdrawals require the offer's wagering and withdrawal conditions. Maximum stakes, expiry and maximum free-bet wins can be specific to the promotion. Forfeiting a bonus also forfeits pending winnings accumulated while wagering it.

The loyalty club has named tiers and mutable rewards, but current rates and splits belong to the account and help centre. Lifetime turnover is not a measure of profitability, and a reward should not justify additional betting.

Account controls

Deposit limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion

Cloudbet documents daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits. A new or stricter limit takes effect immediately; a less strict change or cancellation carries a 24-hour delay. Funds held above a limit can take 24–36 hours to become available after an approved relaxation.

Cooling-off options are 24 hours, seven days, one month and three months. Gambling features are blocked and the period cannot be ended early. The account is described as reactivating after the selected cooling-off period.

Self-exclusion options are one year, three years, five years and lifetime. The current responsible-gambling page says a temporary exclusion requires the period to expire and the user to contact Cloudbet for reactivation; lifetime exclusion is irreversible.

Operator tools should be paired with independent controls. If gambling is no longer recreational, stop depositing and use the New Zealand contacts on the site's responsible gambling page. Never borrow or use crypto leverage to fund play.

Stated channels, not tested service

Support, complaints and record keeping

Cloudbet lists live chat and support@cloudbet.com. We did not contact either channel, so this review makes no response-time or resolution-quality claim.

The terms require written notice within 30 days for a transaction complaint and set a shorter 72-hour window for posted-result corrections except stated error conditions. Readers should consult the current dispute clause rather than relying on a summary when a real balance is involved.

Keep screenshots, wallet and withdrawal IDs, blockchain hashes, emails, chat transcripts, terms date and the exact game-help record. Do not disclose a seed phrase, private key, one-time code or remote-device access to someone claiming to be support.

The contract is governed through a Curaçao operator relationship, which can create distance for an NZ user. This is a material practical risk even when support is available online.

Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

Does Cloudbet currently permit New Zealand players?

New Zealand was not named in the checked prohibited-country list, but use is also excluded wherever online gambling is unlawful and Cloudbet’s current NZ transition status was not established. Eligibility remains unconfirmed.

Who operates Cloudbet.com?

The current terms identify Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. in Curaçao. Solas Technologies Limited is described as a payment processor only, not the gambling operator.

Which cryptoassets does Cloudbet support?

The terms and current help list 29 assets, including BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC, across specified networks. Actual account availability, minimums and fees still require the authenticated cashier.

Does Cloudbet require verification?

Its help says an unverified account can operate under limits, but the terms permit identity and address documents and AML checks when required. Level 2 removes stated deposit and daily withdrawal limits, subject to review.

Does the sponsored button open Cloudbet?

No. The existing CPA route leads to a separate sponsored destination and is deliberately labelled as a separate offer.
