Short answer
Evidence-led verdict
Wild Yield is a Relax Gaming first-party title identified in the checked demo as wildyield. the current first-party static client package is dated 13 March 2025 and marked v1.0.9; the official release record dates the game to 23 November 2022. The rules describe a 5×5 Connected Ways grid with cascading symbol removal. Those identifiers matter because lower-return builds and market-specific clients can share the same artwork.
The checked help states a theoretical RTP of 96.12%, equivalent to a 3.88% theoretical house edge. That is the figure for the client opened during this review, not proof that every operator deploys the same build. Relax's product record lists alternative game IDs, so the percentage inside the exact live client remains the controlling value.
The documented maximum is 50,000x the total bet. The reference stake range is €0.10 to €20. The risk profile is high, as stated in the launch record; a published ceiling and return percentage do not predict whether a feature or large award will occur in a session.
This page confirms studio authorship, current help text and public release status. It does not claim that a New Zealand operator offers the title, that a demo is a local real-money product, or that a displayed euro-denominated reference range will appear as NZD. Those questions require a separate operator and live-client check.

Exact farm title
Release, authorship and checked package
Relax Gaming released Wild Yield on 23 November 2022 and continues to list it in the official Own Games catalogue. The exact product slug and client game ID are both wildyield, which separates it from similarly named “wild” games and from partner content distributed through Relax.
The product card describes a video slot using Connected Ways with a €0.10–€20 reference range. The current static client identifies package v1.0.9 dated 13 March 2025. Those identifiers are more useful than the theme because a later mathematical build can retain the original farm artwork.
The provider’s public launcher reached the game assets during our check but the staging login did not expose a complete readable help panel. We therefore name the evidence precisely: package configuration supports the RTP and purchase values, while the current product card and dated launch article support the consumer-facing rules and limits.
None of those records proves that a New Zealand operator carries this title. The product’s euro reference stakes also do not establish an NZD range.
Five by five
Connected Ways and avalanche evaluation
Wild Yield uses a 5×5 display and Connected Ways rather than drawn paylines. Winning groups are evaluated under the adjacency rules in the paytable, then their symbols disappear and replacements fall into the vacant positions. Relax calls each replacement step an avalanche.
One paid spin can therefore contain several evaluations. A second win created after the first removal belongs to the same purchased round; it is not a new stake. The round ends only when no further qualifying combination remains or the maximum-win rule ends settlement.
The “Connected Ways” label does not mean every touching symbol pays. The live paytable controls the minimum group, permitted directions, Wild substitution and treatment of special symbols. Readers should not import cluster rules from another Relax title merely because both use cascades.
Cascades can interact with persistent Wilds and Weather effects, so the order matters: evaluate, remove, apply the documented transformation and refill. Stopping an animation early cannot choose the replacements or improve the certified probability.
Pattern generator
Weather signs, Wild patterns and multipliers
A landed Weather sign awards one or two Wild patterns from its associated group. The release says the normal result creates at least three and at most eight Wilds, while a Super Pattern can create as many as 12. Up to three Weather signs can appear in one avalanche.
The product record adds two important consequences: newly affected positions sprout Wilds, and existing Wilds can be transformed into persistent symbols. A multiplier is also applied to qualifying wins. Those are distinct steps; a persistent Wild remains available for later cascades in the documented sequence, while the multiplier changes award value.
A Weather sign is not itself a promise of the largest pattern. The possible pattern group, Super Pattern and number of signs are random events inside the game model. Seeing one sign does not make a second or third due.
When comparing a live client with this guide, record which pattern was awarded, whether existing Wilds persisted, the multiplier shown and the avalanche count. That makes a rules discrepancy traceable without trying to infer hidden probabilities from a short session.
Night-time harvest
Six Free Spins and retriggered Weather effects
The official sources state that the feature begins with six Free Spins. A Bonus symbol during the feature adds one extra spin. The current product description also says Weather signs retrigger the effects of every previously landed sign symbol, allowing the feature state to build.
That persistence changes the sequence but not the meaning of RTP. A feature with accumulating patterns can produce an uneven distribution in which many triggers remain modest and a small number become large. The initial six-spin award is an opportunity count, not a minimum return.
Up to three Weather signs can land in one avalanche during this mode as well. Each sign’s effect must be applied under the current help; the signs should not be multiplied together merely because their animations overlap.
An added spin extends the same feature round. It does not reset losses, guarantee another sign or create a second independent purchase. The cap still applies to the complete game round according to the deployed rules.
90x purchase and Buy Spins
Optional paid routes in the checked package
The v1.0.9 package includes a direct Free Spins purchase at 90 times the regular bet and exposes 96.50% RTP for that route. The product card also refers to Buy Spins, and the client data contains several priced spin options. Their exact labels and availability must be read in the loaded interface before use.
A 90x purchase converts one decision into exposure equal to ninety ordinary stakes. At a NZ$1 hypothetical regular bet, the price would be NZ$90 if the same multiplier were offered in NZD. The result can still return less than the purchase price or zero.
The 96.50% buy-route figure is slightly higher than the 96.12% ordinary setting in this package, but that 0.38 percentage-point difference is a long-run expectation. It does not make one bought feature safer than ninety individual spins and does not predict the next result.
Feature purchase controls can be disabled by jurisdiction or operator. If the control is absent, do not treat the price as a hidden entitlement or search for a workaround. Use only the routes shown in current terms and help.
Audit the whole round
How to read a Wild Yield result
Begin with the total stake, then record the first connected win and each following avalanche. Note any Weather signs, the generated patterns, persistent Wild transformations, multiplier changes and added Free Spins. The final win is the settled total for the complete paid round.
A displayed multiplier may apply only to the award defined in help rather than to the balance, stake or every later event. Likewise, a Wild can substitute for ordinary symbols without substituting for a Bonus or Weather sign. The paytable, not visual similarity, defines those roles.
If the running total reaches the published 50,000x limit, the game can end the feature or cap settlement under its maximum-win rule. The headline does not imply a 50,000x symbol prize or a separately payable amount after the round has already hit the ceiling.
For an evidence check, preserve the package version and active RTP beside the result. A screenshot of the farm grid alone cannot show whether the 96.12%, 94% or 90% model was deployed.
Live-help evidence
RTP, house edge and alternative builds
The information panel in the checked official demo states “the theoretical return to player for this game is 96.12%.” Subtracting that value from 100% gives a theoretical house edge of 3.88%. Both numbers describe the same long-run mathematical relationship from opposite directions; they are not separate charges and they are not a forecast for a deposit.
| Checked mode or route | Theoretical RTP | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Current static client configuration | 96.12% | Official package RTP: 13 March 2025 |
| Buy Feature | 96.50% | Applies only to the documented paid route where available |
| Alternative product build | 94% alternative build | Game ID exists; live help must supply the active percentage |
| Alternative product build | 90% German build | Game ID exists; live help must supply the active percentage |
A return of 96.12% means that across the model's very large test horizon, average awards correspond to 96.12 units for every 100 units staked. It does not mean a player receives that percentage back after 100 spins. High variation, rare features and capped awards can produce short samples far above or below the designed average.
Alternative game IDs are material even when their exact returns are absent from the public product card. A casino can deploy a lower-RTP build under the same consumer title. We therefore do not label 96.12% “universal” or “guaranteed.” Open the information control in the operator client and look for the percentage after the game has loaded.
The Buy Feature is mathematically separate in the checked help: it states 96.50% RTP and costs 90x the regular bet for the Free Spins purchase. That route can be unavailable in some markets or excluded by an operator. Its published return does not make the option affordable or reduce the possibility of losing the full price.
Do not infer RTP from a demo balance, one successful bonus, a streaming clip or a site's headline card. A random sample cannot identify the configured model reliably. The useful audit record is the exact title, visible game ID or version, displayed RTP, date and operator client captured together.
Distribution, not prediction
Volatility and maximum-win limits
The available first-party and live-help evidence supports a high, as stated in the launch record risk profile. Volatility concerns how unevenly the mathematical return is distributed: a volatile game can devote more of its return to uncommon events and leave long stretches with small awards or none. It is not a timetable for a bonus and it does not show that a loss is “due” to reverse.
The checked maximum is 50,000x total bet. “Times bet” uses the full paid stake for the initiating round, not one coin, one line or the balance. A $1 hypothetical stake makes the cap easy to understand, but it does not assert that NZD play is offered.
A cap is a settlement limit, not a realistic session target. It provides no countdown, hit schedule or evidence that raising the stake improves the chance per dollar. Previous non-winning spins do not move a random future result closer to the cap. Treat every paid round as new exposure.
Practical risk is also shaped by total stake, spin speed, feature purchases, enhanced-spin options and session length. A lower stake repeated rapidly can expose more money than a higher stake used briefly. Decide the total acceptable loss before opening the game, then use account limits and breaks rather than chasing a feature.
Read the charged amount
Bet range, optional costs and affordability
The product record gives a reference minimum of €0.10 and maximum of €20. Those euro-denominated figures identify the provider's reference build. They do not promise equivalent NZD controls, and an operator can apply different denominations or account limits.
Always read the total bet immediately before a paid action. The interface can show denomination, level, lines and total stake separately. Enhanced spins or bonus-reel options may increase the price of a round, while a feature purchase can cost many multiples of the base stake. The amount leaving the balance is the relevant measure.
A useful pre-session calculation is total bet multiplied by the maximum number of rounds you are prepared to buy, assuming the entire amount can be lost. For a feature purchase, treat the whole displayed price as exposed at once. Do not finance a purchase by increasing the base stake after losses.
Promotional funds do not change the slot's RTP. Wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum-bet rules and cash-out limits sit in the operator's terms. Check them independently, because a bonus can make an otherwise permitted game or stake ineligible.
Interface verification
Mobile help and what a demo can prove
The official web demo loaded a responsive game client and exposed the title, help date, version, rules and return information used here. On a phone, locate the menu, information icon, total bet, balance and paytable before considering a paid round. If text is clipped, rotate the device or expand the help rather than relying on a search result.
A demo can demonstrate symbol movement, feature order, mode selection and interface controls with valueless credits. It cannot establish that a real-money operator accepts players in New Zealand, that the operator uses the same game ID, or that its active RTP matches the demo.
Demo results also cannot validate the long-run RTP. Ten, one hundred or even thousands of observed spins are a noisy sample, especially in a volatile game. A large demo win is not a prediction for paid play and a dry demo sequence is not proof that the published mathematics is wrong.
If desktop and mobile help disagree, pause. Record the exact URL or operator, title, mode, help version and percentages. The mismatch can indicate a cached client, a market build or an update. Current deployed help is stronger evidence than an undated review, but conflicting clients still need clarification.
Separate evidence chain
New Zealand access is not inferred from the demo
Relax Gaming's own-games catalogue and public demo show that the studio publishes Wild Yield. They do not show that a named operator lawfully offers it to a person in New Zealand. Studio publication, aggregation, operator inventory, territorial access and legal status are separate claims.
Before any real-money use, verify the operator's identity, current New Zealand terms, age and location controls, payments, withdrawals, complaints, account limits and self-exclusion tools. A localised page, NZD wallet or country flag is not on its own regulatory proof.
New Zealand's online-gambling position is time-sensitive. Check the Department of Internal Affairs player guidance and our dated legal-status guide at the point of use. This review is about one game's rules and does not provide legal advice.
Even after an operator check, inspect the live game help. A valid operator relationship does not prove the highest RTP, and the right RTP does not prove operator status. Keeping both questions separate prevents a global demo from becoming an unsupported availability claim.
Source reconciliation
What the checked sources establish
The official product page establishes first-party authorship, public release status, layout, reference bets, headline features and the supported market game IDs. The loaded demo supplies the stronger operational evidence for rules, version, displayed RTP, purchase route and win-cap wording.
The public Try Game route reached Relax's current Wild Yield assets but its staging login failed before a readable in-game help panel appeared. We therefore used the first-party package configuration and rules code for version, RTP and 90x purchase data, while the product and dated release records establish layout, volatility, reference stakes, feature summary and 50,000x cap. A deployed operator help panel can still override this demo package.
Third-party reviews were used to find frequent questions and contradictions, not to override the live help. Competitors often print only the largest cap, omit the selected mode, describe alternative IDs as exact RTPs without a source, or treat global demo access as operator availability.
The evidence was checked on 6 October 2026. The date matters: Relax can update a client or product card, and operators can retain another certified build. Future checks should start with the deployed help and compare its identifier, version and return with this record.
We do not add a hit rate, feature frequency, universal volatility score, New Zealand operator claim or exact alternative RTP unless the checked first-party material supports it. An explicit evidence gap is preferable to a precise-looking number copied from another release.
Two-minute audit
Checklist before relying on this guide
- Match the full title Wild Yield and developer Relax Gaming.
- Confirm game ID wildyield, help date 13 March 2025 and version 1.0.9 where shown.
- Check the layout: a 5×5 Connected Ways grid with cascading symbol removal.
- Read feature triggers, reset rules and settlement order in the live help.
- Record the active RTP rather than assuming 96.12%.
- Confirm whether the cap is 50,000x.
- Read the displayed total stake after enabling any option.
- Verify operator identity and New Zealand access independently.
- Check promotional terms separately from game mathematics.
- Set money and time limits that remain acceptable if no feature arrives.
If the live help differs, use that deployed build and send the title, game ID, version, date and screenshot through our corrections process. That evidence lets us update one canonical review without creating duplicate RTP or bonus pages.

Questions answered
Frequently asked questions
What is the Wild Yield RTP?
The current official static client package exposes 96.12% for ordinary play and 96.50% for the 90x Free Spins purchase. Relax also publishes 94% alternative and 90% German settings, so the deployed help must be checked.
How do Weather signs work?
A Weather sign awards one or two Wild patterns from its group, with a Super Pattern possible. Existing Wilds can become persistent and a multiplier is applied to wins under the feature rules.
How many Free Spins are awarded?
The official product and release records state six initial Free Spins. An additional Bonus symbol adds one spin, while Weather signs can retrigger effects recorded during the feature.
What is the maximum win?
Relax Gaming’s current product card and launch announcement advertise up to 50,000x the total bet.
Can the feature be bought?
The checked v1.0.9 package contains a 90x Free Spins purchase and a 96.50% buy-route RTP. Availability is jurisdiction and operator dependent.
