Short answer
Evidence-led verdict
Conquer Babylon is a Relax Gaming first-party title identified in the checked demo as conquerbabylon. The live help we inspected is dated 18 February 2026 and marked version 1.0.7; the official release record dates the game to 5 August 2025. The rules describe six reels, four to eight rows and 4,096 to 262,144 ways with avalanches, large symbols and a Coin Game. Those identifiers matter because lower-return builds and market-specific clients can share the same artwork.
The checked help states a theoretical RTP of 96.10%, equivalent to a 3.90% theoretical house edge. That is the figure for the client opened during this review, not proof that every operator deploys the same build. Relax's product record lists alternative game IDs, so the percentage inside the exact live client remains the controlling value.
The documented maximum is 15,000x the total bet. The reference stake range is €0.20 to €60. The risk profile is high in Relax Gaming's official release announcement; a published ceiling and return percentage do not predict whether a feature or large award will occur in a session.
This page confirms studio authorship, current help text and public release status. It does not claim that a New Zealand operator offers the title, that a demo is a local real-money product, or that a displayed euro-denominated reference range will appear as NZD. Those questions require a separate operator and live-client check.

August 2025 release
Release status and current help version
Relax Gaming announced Conquer Babylon on 5 August 2025. Its release page calls the game high volatility and describes a six-by-eight maximum grid, up to 262,144 ways and a 15,000x maximum. The product and Own Games pages confirm first-party authorship.
The official fun client opened under game ID conquerbabylon. Its help is dated 18 February 2026 and marked v1.0.7. Rules in that client are the basis for the detailed expansion, modifier and RTP sections below.
The product card publishes a reference range of €0.20 to €60 and lists conquerbabylon_94 and conquerbabylon_86. The product card does not spell out their percentages. Do not treat the suffix as a substitute for reading the deployed help.
4,096 to 262,144
How avalanches expand the grid
Each paid round starts with six reels and four rows. Matching symbols in any position on at least three adjacent reels from the left create a way win. Multiple copies on one reel multiply the number of paid paths, and only the longest matching combination for each symbol is paid.
After evaluation, winning symbols disappear and the remaining symbols fall. New symbols fill the gaps and one extra row is added. The process can repeat until the grid has eight rows. Six reels with eight positions each produce 8⁶, or 262,144 potential ways.
The maximum count is conditional. A new round begins with 4,096 ways, and a cascade must continue far enough to create the larger grid. “Up to 262,144” does not mean every paid round starts with that many open paths.
Bonus, Super and Coin Game feature symbols do not form ordinary ways combinations. Wilds substitute for paying symbols, while the global multiplier—when active—multiplies the resulting award after the appropriate feature sequence.
Area represents copies
Large symbols, Crush Multiplier and Wild Fill
Paying symbols and Wilds can arrive in 1×1, 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 sizes. A large symbol counts as the number of matching 1×1 copies that would fill its area. A 4×4 block therefore represents sixteen copies spanning four columns and four rows and can create 256 ways within a connection.
A large symbol can extend the active grid before win evaluation. If its footprint leaves incomplete rows, extra symbols enter so the board has the full rows demanded by the block.
When a large symbol falls through smaller destructible symbols, every resolved crushing step adds one to the global multiplier. Several row subsets crushed simultaneously count as one step, so the multiplier does not rise once for every removed cell.
Other large symbols, Bonus symbols, Wilds and the Super symbol cannot be crushed. If one of those objects prevents a level landing, empty positions beneath the large symbol become Wilds. This is the Wild Fill result and is distinct from the multiplier increase earned through actual crushing.
Marked positions
Super symbol and Coin Game sequence
The Super symbol is a 1×1 blocker. While it is present, positions involved in winning combinations become marked. If part of a large symbol is marked, the mark spreads across that large symbol's full area.
After base-game wins finish, marked cells enter the Coin Game. They respin into Coin values or one of three modifiers. Coins can show 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 500x the bet before modifiers.
Global Multiplier modifiers add 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x to the shared multiplier. Row-Column modifiers multiply Coin values on their horizontal and vertical axes by 2x, 3x or 5x. Collector symbols total every Coin, convert themselves to that accumulated value and cause the other marked positions to respin.
Row-Column modifiers resolve before Collectors. If several Collectors appear, one resolves and changes into a Coin while the others stay for later activations. At the end, the sum of the on-screen Coins is multiplied by the global multiplier.
Sticky multiplier state
Bonus and Super Bonus rules
Three, four, five or six Bonus symbols award 8, 10, 12 or 15 Free Spins. The global multiplier is sticky through the feature. Landing one or two additional Bonus symbols adds the same number of spins, while three to six create full 8/10/12/15-spin retriggers.
A Bonus trigger that also contains a Super symbol opens Super Bonus with eight spins. If Super lands during an ordinary Bonus, the feature upgrades immediately. The Super symbol then persists to the final Free Spin.
Marked positions also persist in Super Bonus. They set the minimum height for later symbol drops, allowing the Coin Game area to grow as more winning positions are marked. The actual Coin Game resolves after the Free Spins round.
The sticky state makes later spins conditional on earlier events inside the same game round. It does not make a future paid round remember a previous loss; the multiplier and marks reset when the complete round finishes.
Five priced routes
Bonus Reels, upgrades and direct buys
Bonus Reels costs 10x the regular bet and removes paying symbols, leaving only Bonus and Super symbols with an increased entry chance. Big Block costs 5x and guarantees a large symbol. Coin Game Chance costs 25x and guarantees a Super symbol. All three state 96.10% RTP.
The direct Bonus purchase costs 100x and guarantees entry to ordinary Bonus. Super Bonus costs 500x and guarantees the Super route with the Super symbol persistent. Both state 96.50% theoretical RTP.
The routes change price and entry conditions, not the need to set a budget. A 500x purchase risks five hundred ordinary stake units in one action and can settle below its purchase price. Operator or jurisdiction settings can remove any of these controls.
| Route | Cost | RTP |
|---|---|---|
| Regular game | 1x | 96.10% |
| Big Block | 5x | 96.10% |
| Bonus Reels | 10x | 96.10% |
| Coin Game Chance | 25x | 96.10% |
| Bonus buy | 100x | 96.50% |
| Super Bonus buy | 500x | 96.50% |
Live-help evidence
RTP, house edge and alternative builds
The information panel in the checked official demo states “the theoretical return to player for this game is 96.10%.” Subtracting that value from 100% gives a theoretical house edge of 3.90%. Both numbers describe the same long-run mathematical relationship from opposite directions; they are not separate charges and they are not a forecast for a deposit.
| Checked mode or route | Theoretical RTP | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Base game in official demo | 96.10% | Verified in help: 18 February 2026 |
| Bonus and Super Bonus purchases | 96.50% | Applies only to the documented paid route where available |
| Bonus Reels (10x stake) | 96.10% | Only Bonus and Super symbols can land |
| Big Block mode (5x stake) | 96.10% | Guarantees a large symbol |
| Coin Game Chance (25x stake) | 96.10% | Guarantees a Super symbol |
A return of 96.10% means that across the model's very large test horizon, average awards correspond to 96.10 units for every 100 units staked. It does not mean a player receives that percentage back after 100 spins. High variation, rare features and capped awards can produce short samples far above or below the designed average.
Alternative game IDs are material even when their exact returns are absent from the public product card. A casino can deploy a lower-RTP build under the same consumer title. We therefore do not label 96.10% “universal” or “guaranteed.” Open the information control in the operator client and look for the percentage after the game has loaded.
The Bonus and Super Bonus purchases is mathematically separate in the checked help: it states 96.50% RTP and costs 100x for Bonus or 500x for Super Bonus. That route can be unavailable in some markets or excluded by an operator. Its published return does not make the option affordable or reduce the possibility of losing the full price.
Do not infer RTP from a demo balance, one successful bonus, a streaming clip or a site's headline card. A random sample cannot identify the configured model reliably. The useful audit record is the exact title, visible game ID or version, displayed RTP, date and operator client captured together.
Distribution, not prediction
Volatility and maximum-win limits
The available first-party and live-help evidence supports a high in Relax Gaming's official release announcement risk profile. Volatility concerns how unevenly the mathematical return is distributed: a volatile game can devote more of its return to uncommon events and leave long stretches with small awards or none. It is not a timetable for a bonus and it does not show that a loss is “due” to reverse.
The checked maximum is 15,000x total bet. “Times bet” uses the full paid stake for the initiating round, not one coin, one line or the balance. A $1 hypothetical stake makes the cap easy to understand, but it does not assert that NZD play is offered.
A cap is a settlement limit, not a realistic session target. It provides no countdown, hit schedule or evidence that raising the stake improves the chance per dollar. Previous non-winning spins do not move a random future result closer to the cap. Treat every paid round as new exposure.
Practical risk is also shaped by total stake, spin speed, feature purchases, enhanced-spin options and session length. A lower stake repeated rapidly can expose more money than a higher stake used briefly. Decide the total acceptable loss before opening the game, then use account limits and breaks rather than chasing a feature.
Read the charged amount
Bet range, optional costs and affordability
The product record gives a reference minimum of €0.20 and maximum of €60. Those euro-denominated figures identify the provider's reference build. They do not promise equivalent NZD controls, and an operator can apply different denominations or account limits.
Always read the total bet immediately before a paid action. The interface can show denomination, level, lines and total stake separately. Enhanced spins or bonus-reel options may increase the price of a round, while a feature purchase can cost many multiples of the base stake. The amount leaving the balance is the relevant measure.
A useful pre-session calculation is total bet multiplied by the maximum number of rounds you are prepared to buy, assuming the entire amount can be lost. For a feature purchase, treat the whole displayed price as exposed at once. Do not finance a purchase by increasing the base stake after losses.
Promotional funds do not change the slot's RTP. Wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum-bet rules and cash-out limits sit in the operator's terms. Check them independently, because a bonus can make an otherwise permitted game or stake ineligible.
Interface verification
Mobile help and what a demo can prove
The official web demo loaded a responsive game client and exposed the title, help date, version, rules and return information used here. On a phone, locate the menu, information icon, total bet, balance and paytable before considering a paid round. If text is clipped, rotate the device or expand the help rather than relying on a search result.
A demo can demonstrate symbol movement, feature order, mode selection and interface controls with valueless credits. It cannot establish that a real-money operator accepts players in New Zealand, that the operator uses the same game ID, or that its active RTP matches the demo.
Demo results also cannot validate the long-run RTP. Ten, one hundred or even thousands of observed spins are a noisy sample, especially in a volatile game. A large demo win is not a prediction for paid play and a dry demo sequence is not proof that the published mathematics is wrong.
If desktop and mobile help disagree, pause. Record the exact URL or operator, title, mode, help version and percentages. The mismatch can indicate a cached client, a market build or an update. Current deployed help is stronger evidence than an undated review, but conflicting clients still need clarification.
Separate evidence chain
New Zealand access is not inferred from the demo
Relax Gaming's own-games catalogue and public demo show that the studio publishes Conquer Babylon. They do not show that a named operator lawfully offers it to a person in New Zealand. Studio publication, aggregation, operator inventory, territorial access and legal status are separate claims.
Before any real-money use, verify the operator's identity, current New Zealand terms, age and location controls, payments, withdrawals, complaints, account limits and self-exclusion tools. A localised page, NZD wallet or country flag is not on its own regulatory proof.
New Zealand's online-gambling position is time-sensitive. Check the Department of Internal Affairs player guidance and our dated legal-status guide at the point of use. This review is about one game's rules and does not provide legal advice.
Even after an operator check, inspect the live game help. A valid operator relationship does not prove the highest RTP, and the right RTP does not prove operator status. Keeping both questions separate prevents a global demo from becoming an unsupported availability claim.
Source reconciliation
What the checked sources establish
The official product page establishes first-party authorship, public release status, layout, reference bets, headline features and the supported market game IDs. The loaded demo supplies the stronger operational evidence for rules, version, displayed RTP, purchase route and win-cap wording.
Help v1.0.7 verifies the 4,096-to-262,144-way expansion, eight-row limit, 1×1 through 4×4 symbols, Crush Multiplier, Wild Fill, all Coin Game modifier values, Bonus and Super Bonus spin counts, five optional paid routes and the 15,000x settlement rule. The official product card lists conquerbabylon_94 and conquerbabylon_86 without exact returns; the checked client therefore supports 96.10% only for game ID conquerbabylon.
Third-party reviews were used to find frequent questions and contradictions, not to override the live help. Competitors often print only the largest cap, omit the selected mode, describe alternative IDs as exact RTPs without a source, or treat global demo access as operator availability.
The evidence was checked on 6 October 2026. The date matters: Relax can update a client or product card, and operators can retain another certified build. Future checks should start with the deployed help and compare its identifier, version and return with this record.
We do not add a hit rate, feature frequency, universal volatility score, New Zealand operator claim or exact alternative RTP unless the checked first-party material supports it. An explicit evidence gap is preferable to a precise-looking number copied from another release.
Two-minute audit

Questions answered
Frequently asked questions
What is the Conquer Babylon RTP?
The checked official help dated 18 February 2026 and marked v1.0.7 states 96.10% for ordinary play, Bonus Reels, Big Block and Coin Game Chance. Direct Bonus and Super Bonus purchases state 96.50%.
How can the game reach 262,144 ways?
It starts on a 6×4 grid with 4,096 ways. After a win, matching symbols disappear, remaining symbols fall and one row is added. Cascades can expand the grid to eight rows, where six reels produce 262,144 ways.
What do large symbols do?
A 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 symbol represents every 1×1 copy inside its area. It can crush smaller symbols and raise the global multiplier; if an uncrushable object blocks it, gaps are filled with Wilds.
What is the Conquer Babylon maximum win?
The help caps a spin at 15,000x the bet. Once the accumulated result reaches that amount, 15,000x is awarded and remaining feature activity is void.
Is Conquer Babylon available in New Zealand?
No availability claim follows from the global catalogue or demo. Verify the named operator, territorial terms and the deployed game client independently.
